BitcoinTalk++ is a user script that brings some new features the original bitcointalk.org doesn't have.
It is open source so I advise you to check the source if you have any doubt about it.

It used to be hosted on userscript.org, so the changelog had to be retrieved. You can find a ugly version of it at http://btpp.jampa.eu/changelog

For bug reporting or feature suggestion please use the bug tracker: http://btpp.jampa.eu/bugs

BT++ includes:
Quote
Configuration for nearly all the features
Up/downvote people (requires a BT++ password)
See the total score of people
Like/dislike posts
A chat
A Bitcoin ticker, using your own source/currency
Hide threads
Add your own CSS file
Display the real target domain next to each link (helps against phishing)
Link to threads links directly to the last read post
Auto-format Bitcoin addresses and txids
New "upload image" button in the reply form
Auto-refresh current page

How to get your password

In order to vote and chat, you will need a password : you can get it there.
If you don't have enough activity you'll have to send me a PM so that I activate your link.
New users who don't contribute positively to the forum (only posting in giveaways, begging, trolling, etc) won't likely be whitelisted.

How to install it
Quote
Firefox
Install the Greasemonkey extension, then install this:
https://github.com/jackjack-jj/btpp/raw/master/btpp.user.js

Chrome
 - Download and drag this file into the extensions tab (open chrome://extensions):
http://btpp.jampa.eu/crx/btpp_0.2.95.crx  (change the version number to the last one if I forgot to edit it)
OR
 - Install the Tampermonkey extension, then install this:
https://github.com/jackjack-jj/btpp/raw/master/btpp.user.js

Opera
Install this: https://github.com/jackjack-jj/btpp/raw/master/btpp.user.js

Maxthon
Install Violentmonkey

Firefox mobile
XPI file coming soon
Looks like it's impossible to transform a userscript into a XPI for Firefox Mobile 23 (last version)
Please tell me if you have any information about this matter

Android
You can't install extensions on Chrome: https://developers.google.com/chrome/mobile/docs/faq
There's a browser named Tampermonkey on the Google Play but it's still in beta (scripts work well, but poor interface)
ViolentMonkey broken for me, please wait until I solve that Additionally you can use Opera:
 - Install Opera Mobile labs built with extensions
 - Install Violent Monkey for Opera
 - Go to https://github.com/jackjack-jj/btpp/raw/master/btpp.user.js and copy all the text
 - Click on the Violent Monkey icon under the URL, click on the arrow, then on the first button
 - ??

Yes, everyone with the script see the +1s
Only members can vote after asking me their password

I'm the only one voting for now so don't expect many people having something else than a 0

Sent to both.

The script should keep the pass and never ask again once you enter it, but it seems I have to put it each time I want to vote. I'll investigate.

Disclosure:
I have access to votes, if it bothers someone I can change that to make them anonymous. Users wouldn't be able to reverse their votes afterwards though.

I don't see any +1 widgets after I installed the add-on, even after I restarted my browser.

I'm running Chrome 28.0.1500.72m on windows 7.

The script should now keep your password forever instead of randomly asking it again when you want to vote.
If you put a dummy password you would be able to set it again the next time you vote. I will change that soon though.

Please post any suggestions you may have.

If i disable it and enable it later, password will remain same?

Ps: Negative ratings color is green instead of red.

JackJack fixed the issue 1h after the bug report.
Please, don't forget to tip him if you like what he's doing. He's very bad at begging!  Grin

[OVER] RIDDLES 2nd edition --- this was claimed. Look out for 3rd edition!
I won't ever ask for a loan nor offer any escrow service. If I do, please consider my account as hacked.

Yes, the password only depends on the username.

Good idea, I'll change the color of +/- then. Light grey I think.

Not sure the script is worth anything right now. Wink
I'd like to make it much more useful though.

It's planned Grin
I wanted to see if it's used by enough people before putting energy into features.

Agree and dark grey would be better.

Ps: Any way to stop abuse? Like if someone makes a new account and starts giving negative votes to everyone?
