It depends on the token, i like to see the project behind, personally i like real estate backed tokens and some other that are coming up with trading platforms like tokenbox and covesting etc.

I think to see or saying a good token would be base on the project and the developer on how they work it and establish it publicity so that it would sound and smells good to those big investors. To think investors are always catching for the better project and a better token to run out to the crypto world.

I agree that what makes a good token are the people behind the project and how they catch the interest of the investors. Mostly through a good marketing strategy and a good relationship toward its community are best way to make a good token.

  • Token distribution;Try to figure out what their token sales strategy is first. Generally speaking, 30% is fair. If there are “discounts” that means there is an uneven playing field, and the fact they need incentives to attract buyers could be the subtle clue that drives my decision making process. However, discounts aren’t necessarily a negative sign, as a lock-in period can make up for that.

  • The team behind the token;
    I want to see at least one person on the team who has technical experience relevant to cryptocurrency, blockchain, decentralization, or something else related to one of these topics. I recently read a white paper whose founder touted that his CTO was “Cisco and Microsoft Certified.” This guy may well have had these certifications, and could have been a rock star at doing whatever it is that people who have Cisco and Microsoft certifications do, but I don’t understand how that particular technical expertise translates into cryptocurrency, blockchain and/or decentralization expertise.

  • A really great token allows you to do something unique, something that requires a database to be kept but where that data is not changed at every tiff and turn. A bank account is a great example of a database that works well on blockchain, because the data is a record of transactions. So, although the data changes, you need to keep a record of those changes.

What makes a good token are
1. A good token has to be a solution to some problem in world. Taking the fact that world is runned centralized and blockchain has decentralization as a feature, a good token has to substitute centralization.
2. The Development Team of the token.
3. The Total supply of the token as well as the distribution process.

For me, a project can be good if it have beneficial and developable ideas. In my opinion, if a token want to be successful, it should try to be desirable for the future.

I think The most important Factor to make the Token Good is Team and Project

Team = to make the price stable
Project = to make the money still profitable

IOST has got a pretty good team, they have the best coders working round the clock to provide the best platform for building dAPPS.
A team doesn't only involve the devs and PR team but the investors too.How much the investors can hold during such low times.IOST has managed pretty well despite the high amount of circulation.

So yea, IOST has the best team!

if the token is not needed in the blockchain then i'd say it does not matter who the team is because it does't need to be in the blockchain to accomplish their goals but if it's something that has a use case and solves a problem along with a great team, then i definitely see potential but you still have to look at the competition as well Smiley
