Hello Everyone,
This is the rig I am building, I have 3 280x's right now and a 4th on the way. I plan on going to 5 or six possibly with 2 PSU's but that's another topic.
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard
AMD Sempron 145 Processor (SDX145HBGMBOX)
Corsair AX1200i- Platinum Rated PSU
8GB RAM
Running on Ubuntu 13.10 (Linux)
Non-powered risers
Now... I have not undervolted any of the GPU's yet so they are all currently sitting at the stock 1.2V
I was wondering if I would be able to run a 4th card on that same AX1200i without undervolting the cards... and how safe that would be because I know it would have to be close to max load. I have ordered a watt meter so I can see exactly how many watts im pulling at the wall but that is not here yet either. any help would but greatly appreciated and I will also provide discounts or extra time on renting my rig when we its done at
https://www.betarigs.com/rig/3841 if you want haha
I will need help in the future on how to undervolt these suckers too so I will be open to any help possible.
Thanks in advance for any and all responses!
