It's worthwhile to learn the
git bisect command for finding things like this out.
If the offending commit did nothing except this, you can even commit a reversion to your local repository, by running
git revert 123abc. Then you can keep track of future updates by
git fetch origin
git rebase origin master
(You may want to replace 'master' with some other branch, if it offends you that 'master' will no longer match 'origin/master'.)
