Yeah, but CoinHunter waited until after April to release his fork and make a complete ass of himself. And if we waited until April 1st next year he'd probably not be releasing code any more because the open-source fork would have long since wiped him off the block chain.

Sorry if it was not clear to everyone that this was a joke.
I posted this message before the release of 1.04, when Bitparking explained that they had to temporarily close their exchange, and that they were hoping that 1.04 would be released and fix things.

The features I described were a revert to Bitcoin's original design choices (well, the serious ones, of course)

Judging from the quality of the actual solidcoin releases, your joke version would probably still have been the better one
