Hi guys,
I registered to ask you a question. I'm mining with cgminer 3.7.2 on 2 7950 (Win7) with these parameters :
cgminer.exe --thread-concurrency 24000 --lookup-gap 0 --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-memclock 1250 --gpu-powertune 20 -w 256 -I 18 -g 1 --scrypt -o stratum+x -u x -p x
It works fine when I just boot my comp. If ever I want to change a setting and restart cgminer, it does crash my display driver. This sometimes let me Windows opened with only 1 GPU mining, and sometimes crashes my whole comp. When I reboot, I am able to run cgminer again. I am running AMD Drivers 13.9. I tried to downgrade to 12.8 but cgminer doesn't even care to start. I tried removing the gpu-engine parameter, but same issue.
I got another rig (different motherboard, different RAM, different CPU) of 2 7950 running on Win8.1 with exactly the same issue.
I run a google query but it only points me to guys with a cgminer not running at all. I'm running it, but only once. Just a computer restart is a workaround.
This really make me sad cause I want to use Multiminer/CGWatcher to mine multiple coins, which implies a cgminer restart.
Can you point me to a solution ?
Thanks in advance.
