You can't mine Bitcoin with a GPU.  If you want to talk about GPU post in the altcoin section.

Forum rules are pinned to the top of each section, you need to read them before posting.

You purchase Antminers from the manufacture, which is Bitmain.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

mining software customize to your GPU type (AMD/NVIDIA)

usually, for motherboards miners use a minimum of 6xPCIe or more 12x PCIe into a single motherboard whether it is x16 or x1 PCI-e.

yuou can use RX series from RX480 or NVIDIA 1070 and above

If you are only beginner, I would recommend to start only with few GPU, you will see if its worth for you and afterwards you can decide what to do next. Now the prices of cards are not so bad.

Software for GPU miner let's check these thread:
- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2988089.0

If you want to buy Antminer:
- Ethash algorithm:  Antminer E3, Batch 3
https://shop.bitmain.com/product/detail?pid=00020180522174346413QnsK8vmu0702

- Equihash algorithm: Antminer Z9 mini
https://shop.bitmain.com/product/detail?pid=00020180516100211649AUOpGcK4066D

AMD or NVIDIA card you can check how many hash rate are generated on each type of card

https://whattomine.com/

List Of Motherboards (recommended), check this thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1970334.0

I suggest you better do some research before posting question

When you are choosing a GPU for mining, you have to weigh the following: price, hash rate, power consumption.
If we are talking about video cards, there are 2 the most popular video cards for mining — AMD (red) and Nvidia (green).
An AMD Mining Rig usually consists of a bunch of AMD cards going for either Ethash algorithm or the Cryptonight based coins. AMD Mining has following advantages — less risky, mining, cheap cards, excellence in Ethash and Cryptonight, tweaker friendly. But it’s nosy, not power efficient, produces more heat, has low resale value, less profitable.
Nvidia Cards excels in Equihash algorithm which has become very profitable and popular nowadays. Nvidia GPUs are still expensive, but they are somewhat more efficient in mining. If we talk about advantages of Nvidia Mining, the will be following: power efficiency, relatively silent, produce less heat, good support, coin flexibility, good resale value and really profitable. And it has only 2 disadvantages high price and impossibility to work on Ethash and Cryptonight algorithm.

So, your choice depends only on your possibilities and expectations.
On our side, we can offer you a variety of the cryptocoins and the active Bonus system on our pool. For 100GH there is a 20000$ bonus for 6 months. 50% of a month bonus is paid every day, the rest 50% - in the end of the month after the calculation of the powers by your shares. For detailed information contact us in private messages.

Good luck Wink

If you want a vey good estimate of hardware vs profitability then i would recommend https://whattomine.com

That website contains basic profitability estimates for almost all GPUs and ASICs, all you have to do is select your hardware and it will show the most profitable coins to mine. Limitation however is that everyone is using this making it so that the most profitable coins aren't really so profitable anymore. Do your own research and using google is the best way to find profitability.

If @OP doesn't have a problem with the budget it still has to know about the advantages and disadvantages of both devices.
Especially for Mining Rigs must have a knowledge to build them, at least have a basis for building a CPU in general.

I think the best option for you right now is to start mining with your CPU.

I have a CPU mining thread that will help you understand more about mining and what you need to do to get started with it.

I see a lot of people making investments in GPUs or ASICs that they don't really understand yet and end up loosing money or discover that the noise levels are not a good fit for their house.

Not the source of the virus.
As long as the mining rig uses the required software such as Claymore, GPUz, DDU downloaded from official sources or official websites and to avoid mining rigs being the source of viruses, it's better to "mining rig" only be used for "mine" and doesn't install the program others not need.
