I do not even advise selling bitcoins to my friends. Suddenly the price of bitcoin will fall, the friend will take offense and all sorts of misunderstandings will begin.

Yes, I did. My cousin has a friend  do trading. Bitcoin was needed for his trading in March. At that time, he is looking for me and I find him. As a result, Bitcoin transactions were completed in front of him.

In my country there are local exchanger that already trusted by everyone. And maybe f2f exchange still happen but in a little count. Because everyone maybe want something that they really trusted to exchange their fiat to Bitcoin
Same situation on my country it isnt already relevant for someone to make p2p yet theres already a trusted local exchange which you can purchase even on minimal amounts without too much strict requirements.

I do not even advise selling bitcoins to my friends. Suddenly the price of bitcoin will fall, the friend will take offense and all sorts of misunderstandings will begin.
This would be most likely the case to happen if you are the one who do introduce bitcoin to your friend and let them buy your coins and with suck lack of btc awareness he would really blame you if he saw that he losses up money.

I've never exchanged Bitcoin face to face.  I don't know many people in my real life circle that even hold any cryptocurrency.  Plus there is always a very real danger when transacting cryptocurrency in a face to face deal.  I would maybe do it in the future but only with small amounts and in a very public place such as a library.

Of course I didn't exchange Bitcoin for face to face because I'm far from where I live, but I think that's why I use Bitcoin I use Bitcoin exchanges online without going to their place because it's so much easier.

Never.. I just exchange Bitcoin vs fiat in online. But I knew the person and had met him. because his house is not too far away. If face to face for exchange is never because I and he have a busy life.

i think these kind of method do only existed a long time ago ever since exchanges and wallets are not yet invented but nowadays there are now many exchange and wallets that supports cash in and out thru any shops and stores , so we dont really need to buy or trade from an actual person that we dont know .  meeting face to face is also dangerous as you can get hold up or kid napped .

But if you really know the person , let say he or she is your friend/neighbor then it is okay to trade with them upfront  .

We know at this time BTC are using many places. So, maybe many peoples already did this. But your concern could be for more BTC users that are they did it or not. I won't say most of the users already did it but I could say many users did face to face BTC spending. However, I did it.

I did not exchange btc face to face because i dont want to show my identify to others. Crypto is the best way to hide yourself to the world, so i will never use btc before others eyes.  Grin

Face to face no, in early days I had one guy from another city who had business with selling and buying bitcoins, with 5% fee. I call him, or write a message and it was the way we communicated, we never met in live. Now I have more options when it comes to buying and selling bitcoins, banks in my country are more connected with exchanges, before that wasn`t a case.
Here I don`t count my close friends, with some of than I had some buy/sell variants. I`m first of my friends that get into crypto, to some of them I sold some bitcoins, and from some I bought, but that were little amounts, I didn`t earn nothing from that, it was a friend favor to call it like that, to get them more interested in crypto.

Yes,  I  have exchanged bitcoin with other people countless times with the help of this forum.  It is important to follow procedures to buy and sell bitcoin face to face with stranger.  You must know that there is possibility of theft or violence,  so you must prepare accordingly!
