Trezarcoin May Wrapup

     With May coming to a close, it’s a good time to talk about news and updates regarding Trezarcoin since my original post.

     So, let’s talk about what’s happened in May and of course the most exciting bit of news, Trezarcoin has launched an official new Roadmap for the rest of 2018 and first half of 2019 on their website. The Trezarcoin team has a very good track record of releasing their projects on time, so this new roadmap has many of us very excited.
 
Value and Security
     With the recent fall of BTC value, Trezarcoin has fallen from $0.03 but is holding on firmly at around $0.02; while the Nethash rate has held steady. Also, recently, there have been a number of coins that have been hit with the 51% attack, while I spoke about this in the post above, I would like to take this time to highlight once again, Trezarcoin’s PoW/PoS network makes this coin very resilient to such an attack.

Exchanges
     Trezarcoin has futher expanded its reach by breaking into the Chinese crypto market through Fubt, with another exchange coming soon when Australian exchange Blockbid launches.

Wallets
     Shortly after the release of the mobile wallet, community member Wellenreiter released the openSUSE wallet. Trezarcoin is also looking to release a webwallet, followed by joining the Electrum Wallet network, and a hardware wallet before summer of next year. The highly anticipated version 0.13 core wallet update is set to launch soon.

UseCases
     Trezarcoin is also looking to expand it’s use case platform. There are currently 2, TrezarFundMe and TrezarTravels, TrezarTravels currently allows VIP Hotel booking on Expedia with Trezarcoin through a plugin on Slack. However, the team is taking this even further looking to release a website to facilitate this, to provide an overall better and broader user base experience. While also advertising the possibility of two more use cases to come in the near future.

Marketing
     To date Trezarcoin has spread mostly through word of mouth, this has lead to the building of a small but very passionate community. However, confident in their product, the Trezarcoin team looks to begin an official marketing phase in the latter portion of this year.

I've been to trezarcoin mining and POS along with some other last year and most of it was fruitless. Trezarcoin is here for a good amount of time but there are no significant reasons for people to adopt it. I guess the time for normal mining and POS coins are over.

By fruitless, I'm going to assume you mean profits, then yes I agree, currently Trezarcoin is not a money maker. As far as adoption, I believe this is an issue Trezarcoin is addressing bit by bit. I have been part of the community since January, about 4 months after the coin went live. The impression from conversations with the team that I've gotten, is that that the Trezarcoin team wanted a solid good product, that was worthy of presenting to big investors. Rather than just being another hype and dump coin that can barely live past it's whitepaper release. While ICOs, MN, and hyper ROI coins are the current trend, I believe Trezarcoin will still find it's place being a PoW/PoS coin. Yes, it's taking awhile, but this is exactly why I believe Trezarcoin is a long-term investment.

I bet when Trezarcoin becomes fruitful.. Impressio wouldn't mind turning crypto into more crypto. The problem with this space is real life use cases.. I believe Trezarcoin already has one

I think it's silly to believe a coin that is well under a year old would have all the answers already available. If that were the case, you'd be looking to get in at a price of several dollars instead of several pennies. As with any Alt-Coin, you look at the project, the team, whether the team has a history of delivering, what the roadmap has in mind, and the potential future growth possibilities. I'd rather get in at the start of something with potential than pay not only full price of a fully developed coin but pay extra as well for already factored in future growth prospects.

A wise investor reviews an asset and it's future potential.
