How to find a shitposter easily :

1. Visit  Alternate cryptocurrencies > Altcoin Discussion
2. Go to any spam-megathread which has 1k+ replies for shit questions
3. Visit the last 50-100 pages. Almost all the accounts have 1-liner - 2-liner posts

I will have a look and of course, I will find out and most of them will be listed here. But it will take time. Also, I don't have enough time to spend with my laptop. Most of the time, I spend my time here from my mobile.

Can I ask why certain usernames are bold? I would think that the merit abusers might be the better candidates to have their names written in bold, but you may already have a reasoning for this.

It was a bug  Grin I thought to bold the whole list but later, I changed my mind.
But from now, usernames with bold will be an indicator of abusing merit.

I think you will find that this list will become increasingly filled with Full Members, maybe more so than you'd be willing to keep track of. When this happens, it might be a good idea (or maybe even now) to switch the thread to only list Sr. Member and above, so that you do not overwhelm yourself with the sheer amount of Full Members you are bound to come across that fit your criteria. If you can keep up with it, then by all means, keep it going, but I would like to see someone from DT or a moderator putting this list to solid use; maybe once it becomes more extensive that might be the case.

I'm sure it has probably been mentioned on a Meta thread somewhere... But perhaps we need some rules (guidelines?) governing the running of campaigns... Especially ones that "pay to post".

Having said that, is there actually a way to make campaign managers more accountable for the output of their campaign participants? If there are viable solutions... should we make them (the managers) accountable? Or should we simply continue to name and shame the users who are shitposting? Huh
I don't think it's necessarily the pay-for-post aspect of campaigns (though that certainly contributes to the problem) but lax campaign management and not enough rules put in place for the participants.  I don't think managers are checking posts manually for length OR quality, and I seriously doubt whether many of these altcoin bounty managers even have the language skills necessary to properly evaluate quality posts.  From what I've seen, a lot of them are just as ignorant as the shitposters are.

I would love it if all campaigns were like Chipmixer, only accepting people who've proven themselves to NOT be shitposters, not enforcing a minimum number of posts per week or minimum character lengths.  Unfortunately if all campaigns were like them, there wouldn't be enough applicants to fill them.

How are you managing the list by formatting the links? It may consume a lot of time

P.S : Merit should have been implemented in Jan of 2017. Almost all the sr. and full member shitposters have registered during 2017.
Finding them is the easy part, but archiving their posts, and then formatting that is very tedious. It's why the list hasn't been updated as much as I would like. I've still got a load of accounts in a text document that need reviewing, archiving and then finally put on the list. I would do it without the archive bit, but I like to provide evidence where ever possible.

Hindsight certainly is 20/20, isn't it?
Yes.

Some possible suggestions which can prevent the generation of spam to large extent

1. If the creation of topic in Altcoin Discussion and Bitcoin Discussion is restricted to Newbies-Members it would prevent almost huge spam generated in the boards. Yes, it would be difficult for a newbie if he signs up in the forum for getting an assistance to restore his lost keys or coins. There is a separate section in Bitcoin board for Technical Support, so a newbie who needs an assistance for his btc can post there. A creation of separate board for Altcoin Technical Support may solve the problem in Altcoin Section for newbies.

2. Locking of shit topics if it reaches 500-750+ replies. Its really good to see that Mods respond to the locking of mega-spam threads. I myself has successfully reported around 5-10 topics which was locked by mprep and hilariousandco.

I don't think managers are checking posts manually for length OR quality, and I seriously doubt whether many of these altcoin bounty managers even have the language skills necessary to properly evaluate quality posts.  From what I've seen, a lot of them are just as ignorant as the shitposters are.
If almost all the Altcoin bounty managers were like ALU team, it would force members to post at least 2-3 lines of replies related to topic.

Tagging alt account are becoming worthless nowadays, I frequently see some of the campaigns are accepting Negative Trust accounts  Cry These members are participating along with their alts.

P.S : OP is your's a bought account?

It's really suspicious  Grin

I was out of virtual life for this period as I had to spend most of my time for my study, specially struggling with managing my fees.

BTW, Why I would buy a "Member" ranked id while I need merit for higher rank. Make sense?

I think you will find that this list will become increasingly filled with Full Members, maybe more so than you'd be willing to keep track of. From your suggestion, I have come up with a decision. I want to keep track of all the members rank with Full member or above. That's why I will split the thread by creating 3 more new threads where I will list Full Member, Sr Member, Hero Member, Legendary separately. I hope this will help me to manage the list easily.
Don't know whether this list will help anyone else or not, but it will help the bounty managers who are conscious of our forum standard.

1.Planning to create a childthread for this list in which I will list only Full Member as you can see a lot of full members have been included in the list.

2. Also I want to create a column in which I will list whether the listed person get tagged or not.

3. Will do a merit giveaway.

What's your thoughts on it? I would appreciate to hear.

How about doing a spreadsheet, it's probably easier if the list is getting too long.

List is getting too long of course.
Don't know whether people will have eyes on the spreadsheet or not. I will create one. Seems spreadsheet will be easier to handle.

Because most of the bounty managers doesn't check the posts. They only count the posts. Also, it is not possible to check one by one. However, we do have some serious bounty managers who take care of those shitposters.

I think that archiving their post history is the best way to go, as you will efficiently archived 20 posts per archived page of the user. The user UID will also be shown on the original link which will quickly identify the alleged spammer as well. You must also double check if there accounts are also blacklisted in the SMAS blacklist or not, it will save you a lot of time in skipping some of this names.

Random thought : In the title, it says that you have updated this thread 05/06/18 and this is a bit misleading. Maybe it might be more effective to simple state the month outright June 5th, 2018 or even 5th June, 2018. The way it is currently, makes me as an American, read it as though it hasn't been updated for over a month. We write our dates differently, might give some people the impression that you don't maintain the thread and discourage them from taking place in it.

Thanks for pointing out it. I have corrected it. I had written in that way because of the limitation of characters. Now I have fixed it in another way.

The list is getting bigger and bigger.

From the stats present here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=stats
Around 229405 accounts were created from Jan-Sep 2017 and full and Sr.member shitposters registered during this period. If a member registers during Oct 2017 he would be a Member and will never rank up due to the merit requirements. Not all 230k members are low quality posters, around 80-90% are shitposters. Some members may not be active or have left the forum and the remaining 75-100k members are posting in Altcoin Discussion everyday.

If this continues, mprep can never moderate the section successfully. I suggest everyone who posted in this thread to visit the Altcoin Discussion and report the threads which generates huge spam.

@pkmoney If you update the OP regularly, I am sure the account count will reach 25-50k easily  Shocked I will try to update my post by reporting 25 accounts daily in this thread.
