That looks like a serious allegation which in turn looks true to me. What is claiming can actually be the way to legalize the scammed crypto. It increases the doubt in me when the puzzle got solved in just 1-2 days, it looked like complicated one.

The assumed "winner" sent it to 3 different addresses to split it.

You don't have to think about of solving it.

Look at the TXID/address posted above and you'll see that 310 bitcoins were already sent to different addresses.

Address 3x is Multisig Address, I think it is difficult to guess this puzzle.

address with prefix 3 is a P2SH address and can be multisig address or segwit address
by looking the txout of this address, I can say this is definitely a segwit address

However, if anybody DOES get the private key for that address, there are still some 72$ (0.01154184 BTC) there.

and based on the info on the site https://bitcoinchallenge.codes/ posted in the OP,  
there is still a puzzle reward of 0.31 BTC unclaimed, but there's no exact pointer of the holding address
however on the other thread, someone mentioned possible related addresses

Nice puzzle, if that is someone who won it, he must be very smart, or maybe lucky. 310 Bitcoin is very big amount of money if compared with price now. I think something like this can make bitcoin community refreshing, but start with small amount of reward is good.

And as for difficulty level: I've seen solution 0.1BTC wallet and it wasn't that complicated, CSI style puzzles.
