If FBI did issue a gag order against Gox as rumored, a lawsuit will get you nowhere.

But it's worth trying at least

But it might be just a waste of time, and you need to pay for lawyers etc..

And result will be : that you will have to wait for your BTC anyway - same shit...

I think people who want to sue him now should wait a little bit longer to let things settle...
Maybe there will be no need to sue them.

And later, if they will start withdraws again you can sue them for what they did to you and to your mental health Smiley

"No need to sue them", that's probably correct but not for the reason you stated. You don't need to sue because there is nothing to sue for. They are broke, they lost over 1B worth of coins at Novembers high. There is no coming back from this one. Mark will go to jail and get ass raped at least once daily because he wont be able to afford the canteen to pay for his protection. Other will also go to jail, this will run deep through this community. People will just have to take the loss and move on.

Yesterday you were defending Gox saying they will rise again. What happened?

I don't believe I have defended them and wishing Gox would rise again and saying they will rise again are very different things. Please note that requesting evidence they are in fact insolvent is not defending its asking for facts. I want facts and since mark is unable to help with this what other option do I have? So without being too rude bitch don't be putting words in my mouth.

@T.Stuart yep same for me . Nothing to do but get trolled till next week I guess Grin

I was referring to OP and the giant picture of a Phoenix he posted.

Didn't know the Op had posted a phoenix as well. I also posted one else where a few days ago. Honest misunderstanding and I apologize for my mistake and remark.   Embarrassed

Back on the rails:

I have not said I am trying to sue Mt.Gox I'm waiting for suggested actions from a solicitor. I know very very little about law in Japan hence the need for one of the bloodsuckers Wink

From what I understand for Involuntary bankruptcy to work the company has to be insolvent ? I don't know if they are or not and no one else here knows that either.

If Mark lost the password then he also does not know if he is or not lol what a fail. Anyway if someone attempts to force an Involuntary bankruptcy then some facts might surface and I think one thing we could all agree on is that we are very very light on facts atm.

As for the FBI we also have no hard facts about what they are after ( would love to be corrected with evidence) it could be an unrelated criminal investigation but of course it could also be a criminal investigation into Mark. If you have a buddy in the FBi with insider info please feel free to share Smiley

People will just have to take the loss and move on.

Why should they ? If there is a better solution for everyone.

I can tell you why its because the heartless git wants the whole Gox bitcoin drama to end so things can get back to normal and move on. Which I do understand but its not going to go away in a hurry because those of us that are out of pocket are not ready to give up just for them.

Please ONLY POST HERE IF:

You Are SERIOUSLY interested in joining forces to sue Mt.Gox Ltd. and/or Mark Karpeles.

I will be contacting a Lawyer in Japan to discuss proceedings.

DO NOT POST HERE to make some kind of random comment like "haha you lost your money"

IF you want to Sue them with me, please post something, Then I will PM you all to get your phone numbers/email etc.

There are several threads on this very subject in Legal. In particular, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=487340 deals with an action to force them into involuntary bankruptcy.

Too many people involved and way too much money lost for everybody to just "move on" . Especially if there's that plan circulating on reddit to recover the money by creating a new exchange.

what do you mean by saying "legitimate", why is it not legitimate? organizing to sue a crook is more than legitimate.

I would join it in a heart beat if I knew more about it. Right now I cant find anything about "them".

Not about to sign up and hand over anything including an email until I see some transparency.

there are extensive discussions on this effort over the past week, may help to shed some transparency :
