if you scare better dont invest it, yeah i guess someone was addiction with trade or investing, as far you get profit i think it will be fine.
like me, im just do monthly trading, because i cant read the chart (technical analize) I only see the value of the exchange every day, then buy it at deep and sell at high.sometime i lose but it's ok, even a pro trader will never always win.

Addiction in cryptocurrency is really happens because of those investors that have a only aim to earn and to earn money in this kinds of business meaning they are become an obsess investors.
Everyone must look for profit. What make it difference is how big profit that each investor want. And how big is it and how many time they invest, affected by addiction in investment. Especially if they got a lot of profit for that.

The same as with anything you've got used to doing. I'm positive we all need to take a break from time to time...

Once you experienced something good in what you are doing, then that makes you addicted to it. Yes, I can relate to your experience. Even if I seldom buy coins for investment because I am more than a bounty hunter, I don't want to miss out something especially those running ICO's with promising projects. That is why I keep looking on the internet what are the upcoming good ICO's and take a glimpse into the market from time to time what is the best coin to buy during the dip.

I seem to have some kind of antidote to any kind of addiction and the same applies to cryptomarket: I do enjoy being a part of it, I like it when I get some good luck here, but I can relatively easy to switch to a different kind of activities. Maybe because I'm not a gambler inside. Thanks God this helps me keep my blood pressure and other things under control!  Cool

Can anyone relate?
I have that feeling too but those when im still on newbie days where you cant really avoid on getting jealous into other investors or traders as well because you wont like to miss out that money making opportunity.
It isnt really an addiction but too much possessed on how to make even more money since we do know in our minds that we can potentially change our life if we do able to hit some luck and hard work with crypto engagement. You shouldnt always check on others works or behavior because this would just stress you out.

op, everytime you get jealous of others who have higher scores than yours, think of how much people got failing scores.  how many people wishes to be at the same status as you currently enjoying.  there's too much to learn and earn in this relatively new crypto world. the same ways, there's also too much to lose if the player doesn't handle his fund wisely.  being aggressive without proper knowledge will usually result into failures.

Do you ever feel like you're overly obsessed with cryptocurrencies or trading/investing in general?
Personally, I'm fairly satisfied with my investments/decisions so far but yet I'm looking for market opportunities most of the time. I think that's mainly because of the fact that majority of my time browsing the internet I watch related content. I'm passionate quite passionate about it.

Over time it kinda makes me feel depressed that I don't make as much as I possibly could or others have better scores (some unhealthy jealousy I guess?), so this "paper-chasing" has become a target itself.

When I want to take a break from all this stuff for let's say a month or week at least then I'm not able to because I'm afraid that I will miss out on something.
On the one hand, I have made investments in projects I believe in so I could leave it for few months even and then back but at the other hand, I'm still not quite sure about my diversification so I keep watching the market.

Can anyone relate?
you are one of the lucky people who feel the success of cryptocurrency, while many others have not felt the success of Crypto, and they are still struggling to feel it.
the fear you feel is very natural, because you have a strong business spirit, so you are afraid of losing money if you decide to take a break, I don't think you need to stop completely, you can just spend a few minutes to monitor price developments, the important thing is you don't spend a lot of time just for crypto.

Yes, especially if you did well. Then you want more and more. It really is like addiction. And without that, then not how.

Oh, the workaholics are also addicts. Their addiction brings them money but it makes them feeling exhausted as they work too much. The same happens with the traders.

I feel you there. I guess it's because we know it's our money. We are dedicated to what we do and we do want to make it right. Don't worry, things seem to become a bit brighter knowing, that it's all of us feeling this way .. Smiley

I also felt the same way and it pisses me off making me emotional on my recent trades that is making me more pissed. Maybe I need to chill a little bit in order to work longer next time. We need composure and that is what we didn't have right now.

Exactly! You nailed it. Money is the word, it's our money and we won't screw it up but it screw us in exchange. Initially, money is working for us so why is this happening?   Grin

Interest in new emerging markets and a possible financial revolution is a good addiction to have in my opinion, i could come up with a long list of far worse alternatives.

At the start new traders may be overly addicted to watching price action and how their traders are developing but they'll settle down eventually once they've emotionally detached themselves from their traders.

Well what it is makes you addicted in work or in crypto the most important is you are addicted in worth it to your future ,you are just focus for the good of your money and it's good to be more addicted on important things .

I never felt addicted to trading in this market. I do not like to look at the chart for too long and only earn a few dollars. That's not my hobby.
I just like to sort out and find out the good altcoins, then I will buy and hold in long term from 1 -2 years.
Besides it cannot be classified as an addiction, an addiction is something that you need to do in a compulsive way, to have a physical necessity to do it and to be detrimental to your well being, and if you are earning money in this market then it does not matter how much time and effort you spend in this market that does not qualify as an addiction.
