Do you ever feel like you're overly obsessed with cryptocurrencies or trading/investing in general?
Personally, I'm fairly satisfied with my investments/decisions so far but yet I'm looking for market opportunities most of the time. I think that's mainly because of the fact that majority of my time browsing the internet I watch related content. I'm passionate quite passionate about it.

Over time it kinda makes me feel depressed that I don't make as much as I possibly could or others have better scores (some unhealthy jealousy I guess?), so this "paper-chasing" has become a target itself.

When I want to take a break from all this stuff for let's say a month or week at least then I'm not able to because I'm afraid that I will miss out on something.
On the one hand, I have made investments in projects I believe in so I could leave it for few months even and then back but at the other hand, I'm still not quite sure about my diversification so I keep watching the market.

Can anyone relate?
very good, you work on cryptocurrency seriously and correctly, even you can't escape from that. maybe this makes you worry because you really can't escape crypto.
the first thing you have to do is rearrange your thinking, that crypto is a job to make money and not too obsessed because there is still a lot of work to be done in the real world.
Your desire to keep monitoring price developments is normal, because you are investing, so if you want to take a break, you don't really forget Crypto.

Addiction is a feeling that you like something and are so passionate that you can not control your behavior as well as control your thoughts and actions, regardless of whether or not you have it. results from addiction caused

It's quite addicting but only when you actually make money. Just like gambling.
Money is always a trap for human. We humans are somehow oriented towards few to these attractive elements. Some are so much interested in money and others are in fame and some really want to achieve high respect in society and much more. So being a winner in trading and making big money from little one due to your hard efforts makes you addictive. But it is much more distant than gambling.

It could be addicting, especialy of you are making profit. That feeling and adrenaline, at least in my case, it's hard to replace with something else. It keeps attracting you to come for more.
So, you have to be careful and know your limits similar like with gambling otherwise you might find yourself in troubles.

I wouldn't say obsession because I can still control myself in terms of the activities I do in the cryptocurrency market. Also, once you have invested your time and effort, and most especially your money in the market, it would be hard not to do anything and everything just to help your investment become successful in the end. Also, as more and more negative things are happening in the market, seeing the market and studying everything that could help you at least get some leverage to gain success is still a better move than just sitting around and waiting for the tides to turn.
This is actually the clear signs of your future money that makes you passionate about the money you invest in crypto currency. Many people who have invested in the early time in crypto are satisfied for their margin of profit is very high and they just do not have to worry about the loss anymore no matter how down the market is.

It is not addiction but the quest to maximize your profits and once you are able to reach a certain financial goal; you would no longer follow this lifestyle and would be looking for reasons of motivation to earn further.

I feel you . lately I am feeling that I am waking just to do some crypto thing. It is my cellphone and wifi I get first when I wake up. I do not want to miss crypto price especially when it increases. But I also hate myself because on the other hand I still get nothing from my last 3 months of spending in bitcointalk.org plus tge price is low.

Because of my passion to give my family a brighter tomorrow and be able to help the needy, I make it a habit to spend a lot of time searching on the net the ways and means on how to earn a huge profit in cryptocurrency after my working hours. Like some of the members here in forum, I don't want to miss out something or opportunities what cryptocurrency brings into our personal lives.

Good for you but I hope that you are doing it correctly. I mean If you treat this as your normal job then you might have problems when the price is going down as compare to a regular job that will get you a stable source to feed your family, just saying. Just like we are seeing right now, there was a big drop again and bitcoin is hovering just above $6000 and it doesn't looks encouraging to us all.

I think anyone can be obsessed with it, because during its circulation, cryptocurrency often provides many benefits to all its users, let's say it has given birth to many new rich people. In the future, as time goes by maybe you will get used to it, you need to relax in doing it, no need to rush or feel worried about being left behind.

Eehm… I don’t really think so, cause I’m not relying on Bitcoin as my all and all. I’m not the kind of person that relies only on one thing, I prefer to have lots of things and be involved in lots of activities that can bring income to me. Well, maybe I can say that I am addicted lots of things and not just Bitcoin alone. Bitcoin is good, at least it helped at first to start up my dream as an entrepreneur. So it’s very good, and maybe I’m addicted to it cause I do it a lot of times.

I think that it's not obsession or addiction considerably; I think that people do that because it is critical and crucial to help their investments be successful. In this volatile and ever-changing market, people who are serious with their investments and ventures should always look at the how the market is moving to make sure that they are doing the right actions to ultimately yield results. Therefore, I can say that they are not addicted, but instead, they just want to be thorough with doing and handling their investments.

Yes, I agree that the crypto currency is very exciting. It takes all our time, we forget our old habits, sometimes we turn away from communicating with our relatives and friends, and this is not very good. Therefore, crypto-currencies need to be carried on moderately, otherwise it can lead to undesirable consequences.
I also read that it seems, in Sweden, they are already beginning to cure for crypto-currency dependence and the method of its treatment is similar to the method of treating dependence on gambling.

This is good. The statement makes you look like a long term investor and investing in the coins in long term is what enables you not to worry about the price fluctuation. And this is good because it does not do you any good to panic about the fluctuating prices.

It is therefore a wise act to invest in coins for long term and stay away from the addiction. Long term investment helps your portfolio grow in worth and upon cashing the coin, you get more than what you had invested in the start.

Don't play when you are weak and you cannot manage your emotion, this kind of game needs strategy and emotion is not a strategy.
If you gamble, you need to accept the fact that you might loss, don't let your emotion dictate you as for sure you'll end up miserable because of gambling.

Do you ever feel like you're overly obsessed with cryptocurrencies or trading/investing in general?

On the one hand, I have made investments in projects I believe in so I could leave it for few months even and then back but at the other hand, I'm still not quite sure about my diversification so I keep watching the market.

Yes I am deeply obsessed in crypto right now. Maybe this is what it really feels when you're desperate to earn some money because you badly need money at least befpre this year end. I wanna be always updated especially if there is any good changes in prices so that I can now trade my coins.

When you start trading, the motif of your choice is the desire to earn some extra money and the wish to satisfy your curiosity. With time, most of the traders become obsessed with this business. Yes, it looks like an addiction.
