No, it's fair, check the history of your posts, more than half of the posts are social media links and proofs of join airdrop. This is a great victory for the Merit system. if you get a higher activity by posting many of social media links becomes Sr.member, which is really unfair.

Dude, you have 249 activity and 0 Merit. Do you think that you deserved to get higher rank? Half of your posts are just bounty reports, others - one liners in megathreads. All these restrictions were imposed exactly because of people like you. There are uncontrolled amount of spam made by Newbies and Juniors and something had to be done to stop it. Now if you want to earn money on Bitcointalk you should put at least some effort into your posts. I don't think that these restrictions will cause difficulties for genuine users.

 What is so special about being senior or newbie? Just participate, contribute to meaningful and positive discussions with good content. That is what forums are all about. Not "very good project, solid team, wise investment" on and on and on.

But since you register at January when you register i think in every where you must learn and obey to rules if you not you should not complain about it. Many new member right now can get some merit because what? Because they now they not to reply or post some like shitpost. So i think you stop complain just follow the rules, from now you must change to make good quality post,constructive and make this forum can be better or if you doesn't happy leave it. You should buy the copper membership program that was announced by theyos. He had made some balancing which if you get demoted then you can avail the copper membership which cost you only a little amount it will give you the chance to wear avatar or images which likely to add stake as a reward for wearing it. I think it's fair if bitcointalk applies rules like this, because they want to reduce junk posts. And what is unfair is that those who have high rankings will easily give merit, and that will be a gap for account farmers to create many alt accounts.
