Hello, I have sent some BTC to my tails Electrum wallet.
It's like a 2 years old version, 2.7.9 or something like that.
The issue is, the transaction has like 22 confirmations in the sending wallet, it's confirmed also at my Tails Electrum receiving wallet.
But the amount of transacted says 0.00000.
I've sent there much more than nothing.
I can't right click on the date under history of this particular transaction.
Also, it says the wallet is synchronizing in the bottom left corner.
It most of the times doesn't load addresses and contacts.
It only loads addresses from time to time.
When I look up the used addresses and select the one the funds were transferred to it says the amount transferred was 0.0000 so is the balance.
Now, I hope it's the synchronizing issues cause I don't have any idea where those funds could go.
I've tried quitting and reloading the wallet, changing the server manually.
Didn't help at all.
Any ideas?

It is most likely a synchronization issue. Electrum has those issues for versions < 3.x;

Try searching the address in a block explorer. If the balance is there, then there is nothing to worry about.

Have you tried upgrading your wallet to the latest version?

Yeah, the balance is on the receiving address there.
I haven't tried upgrading yet, cause I'm not sure how.
I've read that I can upgrade the wallet by downloading new version.
Since it's Tails, I should download the Linux version right?

Before you do anything else or before you update your wallet to a new electrum wallet make sure you have backup private keys or seed or find the default_wallet.dat in your tails OS and move it to the safe place just to be safe.

Because there are sometimes happen that upgrading the wallet directly may cause some issues.

It would be easier if you simply used the latest version of tails instead of attempting to upgrade electrum on an old version of tails.
