Wow! That's cool. This indicates a positive attitude towards bitcoin, and possibly a soon increase in the price.
Shouldn't mean much for the price (short-term) and it is not a service that would be useful for many. But the positive attitude is encouraging. Hopefully more will follow.

Although Citibank offers crypto to investors, the effect has not been significant so far, crypto needs other support to rise again. I hope there will be many large platforms that support bitcoin and come out of this long correction zone
Hope you have read the article, it says they are providing insurance and other features for institutional investors, it is to attract new customers in the new market as majority of the banks were not in favor of funding or accepting funds from the new technology based companies, it is a positive news for the market and this news alone will not move the market like that, we will see gradual change in the entire market in the future.

New york based Citi bank will offer crypto custody solutions to institutional investors, it will provide institutional investors to invest in cryptocurrencies in a fully insured and regulated manner.  Link : https://www.ccn.com/citigroup-is-the-latest-bank-to-offer-crypto-custody-heres-how-it-will-affect-the-market/
It is good news to all cryptocurrency lovers especially who wants to invest with assurance. This kind of investment with insurance is good to those who are afraid of risky investment. Is this only applies in New York? Or it is soon to be applied in other countries?

Yeah, I heard the same but wasn't sure of the news.

That's a great news for Citibank workers , I hope more banks come on the same page as this bank.

Hearing this for the very first time that Fidelity also is offering cryptocurrency custody for their esteem clients. Gradually the technology is gaining momentum as day passes, hopeful that other major Financial institutions will buy into the technology in the future. There will be much discovery of potentials when Banks start to adopt the technology.

wow, its great for us, we know that the citibank is the big company in banking and they will involve with bitcoin, i hope that all bank will involve in bitcoin too and will use bitcoin as their asset in the bank.
They are now startiny to adopt bitcoin or rather blockchain to their system as bankers find out how futuristic cryptocurrency is.and they don’t want to be overcome in future

Citibank just do what they think will benefits them sooner, and other banks are following the steps today and in future
