The OP thinks begging for merit, will earn him merit, which is seriously out of it. Getting merit should not be something hard. You just keep doing what you know to do best, but at the same time, try to help other and give helps that will trigger those who have Smerits.
Indeed, asking for merit may get you being tagged and your account will be useless
