I think that France is one of the crypto friendly countries, back in 2010 i saw a news report about a guy earning money with his computers by mining bitcoin and that was the first time that i learn about it and kicked off my passion for bitcoin to where i am at now, and if these kind of ads get to the right people and influence them like influenced me, bitcoin will have many new people coming to it and increasing its popularity, and also i saw another post about them starting to teach it in universities and this makes me think that they are really making huge step toward bitcoin adoption.

That’s very interesting that in France there are active approaches for their people to start engaging with Bitcoin as form of earning money, payment and storage of assets. I am curious of what were the lessons would they teach Bitcoin in the university and whether is an elective subject or for specific programs only involving programming or any related fields. Another thing that is interesting to know is the regulations of their country with regards of Bitcoin whether do they impose taxes and have bills filed in their legislation.

Who told you that this ad was aired in odds hours in french TV ? I did not hear any such news anywhere. Do you have any evidence ?

Regardless of when it is on air, the ads are repeated many number of times and they will reach mass audience if they are on air on a national TV channel, so another good step by the french's media.

French become potential country for promoting bitcoin in for investor, after available syllabus subject in the school now French have promote bitcoin on their television to make their people invest with bitcoin and altcoin, they have know what most profitable by investing with bitcoin and altcoin, other way can give much profit later when bitcoin have higher price.

There was this french revolution we studied when we were kids and now there is this revolution that they are fueling up , I think now more people will start accepting Bitcoins .

Advertising is actually a huge way to reach a lot of people , be because everything aside it helps making it much familiar with the normal families but one should understand it would depend on the channel it is being aired on and stuff .

It's a great move by TF1 and France supporting it is like an icing on the cake.
A small step can lead to bigger changes and this small move by TF1 might result in bigger institutions start accepting bitcoin as well.
If many institutions start accepting bitcoin then it might be globally accepted in no time.

Great move indeed, now we are witnessing another public ad on national tv. More adoption is coming, and we expect that bitcoin will become mainstream. It is a long term dream that slowly becoming into a realization.We hope more nations will follow, that is openly accepting bitcoin.

It doesn't look like a very good system, and it seems expensive. I get the impression that you buy a voucher, and then you have to g to your computer, and claim your coins in a wallet they provide. Is this true? Do you have to pay more fees to "spend" the coins in your wallet? I'm a cynic, and I wonder how long it will be before they introduce fractional reserve banking into their wallet structure.

Yeah, you got it right.
You buy a voucher that can be redeemed only if you have an account with them in their wallet, or you can ask for the redeem coins to go to an external address directly but you still need to be fully verified. So, mandatory KYC no matter how much you buy.
Comparing the fee of 7% with other ATMs and the fact that some are not asking you for an id for 50 euros, yeah, the system sucks.

Oh, and no, they are not asking for anything else than the normal tx fee when sending bitcoins out.

that's not what I mean, in my country a lot of bitcoin news is aired and I'm glad it's aired on national or private tv but unfortunately the news airs around 12 pm, in my country people over 12 pm are sleeping hours, so who is watching that and know about bitcoin, I mean if the ad was shown above 12 p.m. or someone's bedtime, so who cares about the ad and people won't know about bitcoin

Advertising bitcoin on television, what could be better?

It seems France is now getting more closer and closer to adopting cryptocurrencies. Recently they started to add cryptocurrencies in their curriculum and now their local national TV is starting to advertise Bitcoin. I think this will have an impact on the community because this will get capture more attention that will urge the investors to invest in this kind of technology. I hope that there will be more countries acknowledge this technology because this might be a solution to their economic problems.

Now I've seen something great. Much faster way to spread the existence of Bitcoin. Although I find the advertisement still lacking? Yes it's good that they're somehow promoting it on TV but the ad itself, I don't think it'll attract people or will catch their attention. No intention of hating but it's kinda plain... I don't know either if this applies to other countries or in France but in my country, ads with storyline attracts more people. So I hope if this will happen in my country soon, it would be better to ad story.

advertisers on television so far can still attract the interest of people, especially for those who do not use phones a lot in their daily lives and also the internet because advertising on the internet takes reference from their previous searches. the goal is indeed good, because it uses simple promotion techniques so that anyone who has a television can see the ad.

I doubt its French national TV that advertises , they advertise it ON French national TV
and who does it , this is the question to be asking
the amount of money it costs to air such ads or a show is big and only rich companies or funds can allow it
if we knew who is behind the ads , would be able to gauge this companie's next move , potentially accepting bitcoins if it is some big name in the business
generally speaking , whoever adopts bitcoin first , I mean the country , they have huge advantages , like being a home to bitcoin exchanges etc.
