Please help me with this matter.

I have my wallet on laptop, which is electrum. been years i use the same one, and i sent -0.07961441 to my wallet (mycelium) which is on my iphone11.

the funds, never came to my wallet, even though all confimations have been done.

i sent the funds to this address  "  1GeZ8Vg5UZKeAVPAekbCxzKGk67QUXLHQv  " which is part of my wallet.

i have the 12 words also , for my account.

when i dint recevie the money, i click on back up and i saved the 12 words.

i then downloaded myceliun on adroid and put my 12 words.  once it sync, it dont show the -0.07961441 that i sent. and whats scary is that it dont show the past history either... its just showing stuff from 2017.

what do i do? please help

Go to your laptop and create a new wallet on Electrum by restoring your Mycelium seed (when inserting it, you will also need to click on Options and tick "BIP39 seed") and selecting "legacy (p2pkh)". See if your funds show up.

I honestly wouldn't keep using Mycelium. They were good in the past, but they went down hill a couple of years ago and they almost didn't had any update until they finally started supporting Segwit a few months ago. I personally use BlueWallet.

edit:
He sent it to a legacy address? So hell be wanting to select that one surely?
Yes, you're right.

The funds are definitely in there: https://m.btc.com/42a2ca1ff65195696929610f541f67c81520283ff76927f8a35d95c025909209

Go to your laptop and create a new wallet on Electrum by restoring your Mycelium seed (when inserting it, you will also need to click on Options and tick "BIP39 seed"), then selecting p2sh-segwit (p2wpkh-p2sh). See if your funds show up.

He sent it to a legacy address? So hell be wanting to select that one surely?

Mycelium by default allows you to use all three derivation paths at once. Although I've seen quite a few issues with apple and mycelium recently.

I'm still using Mycelium wallet rarely but recently they release the latest version 3.3.0.17 and they also support Ethereum for Android. The Mycelium still working fine without any issue on Android.
But for IOS devices I think they stop support the IOS mycelium version they also don't have an update on AppStore. It might be the cause of the syncing issue.

Anyway, If you can't still find your wallet or the above method doesn't work you can export the private key from Mycelium wallet follow this step below.

- Go to the accounts tab
- Tap the 3 dots (On the top-right screen)
- Select Export account keys
- tap or slid it to private keys
- Now, Hold and touch the lower part of the QR code.
- It will show all of your keys from legacy to segwit.

Now, Copy them and import them to Electrum.

i tried this, and its still showing the same thing. no new transactions since 2017

i dont get it!   i had my wallet open my celium. i click on back up. i worte down the 12 words. and each time i load my wallet, its not showing anything since 2017
In your Electrum wallet (imported from Mycelium), go to View -> Show Console, and then the Console tab. Run: ismine("1GeZ8Vg5UZKeAVPAekbCxzKGk67QUXLHQv") and see if it returns true. If it doesn't, run: wallet.change_gap_limit(100) or a higher number, wait a bit and see if the transactions/coins show up and run the first command again (and see if the output is true).

Wahoo!

If it returns true that is I just found this on stack exchange:
wallet.change_gap_limit(1100)
 wallet.storage.write()

Just needs a dot write, I'm really hoping!!! (might need to reopen electrum afterwards).

It's been like that since the start, check. My post above.

@heat, try increasing the limit to 200. I think you need the wallet.store command too for it to be applied to the rest of the wallet.

In your Mycelium wallet, how many accounts are there?
Have you tried clicking "reload account" after clicking your affected account in the 'accounts' tab (swipe left)?

Yes? Now, if there are two or more, then you must check where address "1GeZ8Vg5UZKeAVPAekbCxzKGk67QUXLHQv" belongs.
If it's still displayed in the balance tab (tap QR code if SegWit Add is displayed), there should be an indicator of which account the address belongs.

In Electrum, edit the derivation path below the address type selection window (when restoring a wallet) instead of using the default.
Edit Legacy's m/44'/0'/0' into:
Code:
m/44'/0'/1'
To restore the second account.
Code:
m/44'/0'/2'
For the third account, and so forth if there are more accounts in the accounts tab of your Mycelium.

I have my wallet on laptop, which is electrum. been years i use the same one, and i sent -0.07961441 to my wallet (mycelium) which is on my iphone11.
It's probably never going to show in Mycelium on your iPhone:

Version History
1.11 Jan 11, 2017
Added German localization

Mycelium stopped updating the iOS version over 3 years ago... Roll Eyes

i then downloaded myceliun on adroid and put my 12 words.  once it sync, it dont show the -0.07961441 that i sent. and whats scary is that it dont show the past history either... its just showing stuff from 2017.
The fact that it is showing info from 2017 is a good start. At least it appears that it's restored the wallet from your iPhone.

Have you tried running the "ismine()" command again in Electrum after you ran the "change_gap_limit" command? Huh

Code:
ismine("1GeZ8Vg5UZKeAVPAekbCxzKGk67QUXLHQv")

Does this return "true" or "false"? Huh
