One of the leading cause of mortality is diabetes. It can trigger or worsen any existing diseases. When a person is not mindfull on their diet especially the kind of food rich in carbohydrates and lack of exercise can lead to diebetes. Please limit your sugar intake and do moderate exercise. If you are living a sedentary lifestyle like sitting all day long in offices/computer work, have time to walk around.
Yup nothing really much to advise here but to avoid all sweets. Not just the actual sweets, but also everything from sodas, juices and also red meat and processed red meat which are both related to type 2 diabetes. All time favorite breakfast like bacon, hotdogs, and other red meats are particularly bad because of their high levels of sodium.
