Any chance you could tell us the address it's on.

If not check it on etherscan and tell us what they say it's worth. Eth transactions are expensive at the moment and there's also a chance it may not be the real token or different to what you think it is in its current state.

Go  to topbtc i see on coinmarketcap that is the only exchange of your token, with  ethereum trading pair.

Gas fee is too high right now. If ever there is an exchange where you can sell those tokens, transferring it might cost you more than that five bucks.

Yeah I asked because fees are really high at the moment on the eth network and it doesn't seem possible to pay a low fee to get the transaction through.

I'd suggest you set a reminder and look at the fees or bump this topic in a month or two to see if the fees go down. I recently had to pay $9 for a termination of a smart contract.

Even use coingecko if he doesn't want to use CMC. And right now, I don't think it is worth sending those tokens because as others have said, the gas fees is pretty high. And also, I don't think he will get something out of it, considering the fees involved even withdrawal from the exchange. Not worth the effort of selling that token. Just hope that someday it will increase its value and gas fees be lower.

oh i see gas fees are for individual transactions of exchanging and swapping tokens. so i have to gain enough tokens so i can swap it without lossing.

Yes the gas fee (limit) changes based on how busy the network is.

You're not trying to aquire more of the token per se, you're needing to gain eth in order to pay the gas. If you keep earning the token you currently can't use it to pay the fee afaik - I imagine this will be a development at some point.

Are you talking about this token https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/digital-asset-guarantee-token#markets, you can liquidate it on the exchange where it is listed, but check the gas fee before trading or withdrawing, there have been a lot of complain about gas fee.

I think OP tokens canr be monetized with that worth. Ive been trading on uniswap and sometime my fees are even more than the value of his tokens. I assume this is an airdrop tokens, presumably all tokens with little less value than 10$ is not worth exchanging anymore. Why? The answered were simple and everyone here are mentioning about the fee hike on the eth network.

My suggestion is either have a look on forkdelta if this token has been traded, but probably the best action is uiswap try to sell it with eth, if its a good coin, Im sure there is liquidity for that, calculate your earnings + fee if the process is more expensive than the token worth then just leave it and wait for it to gain more value.

Airdrop tokens is not much worth to exchange to eth or btc as it will cost more than the value of the tokens. I have participated in some airdrops and it only remain in my wallet unexchange as it's not worth to spend more than the value of said tokens. Better find another way to earn btc or eth that you can earn without costing more than the value you have.

Unfortunately DAGT token only listed on TOPBTC, probably the best way is trade with person/members in this forum or use Decentralized exchange (e.g. uniswap). OP if you want to use TOPBTC, you need to take a risk (lost all of your token)

Yeah, OP can wait for a while, maybe months (because with DeFi hype, fees won't become cheaper soon) to see fees on Ethereum network will become cheap again and can move it to save more fees and won't lose all or most of $5.86.
