Honestly, trust is very hard to earn.
You need to show that you are a person who is willing to help others, help the community, invest your time and effort on the forum etc.
If you do that, in a couple of years people will start to trust you.

Being a trusted member in this forum is difficult to earn because I am too still doesn't receive any trust or positive feedback. LOL.

Well. Other members in this forum have gained their trust by proving themselves a reliable and an honest user who have completed a transaction and make a good contribution in this forum. To be honest, having a trust or positive feedback in your account is not really necessary, as long as you don't cheat, scam, or trick other members in this forum is enough for you not to get banned or receive a negative trust.

Well, the trust score under your profile is not important, the important is the status of the account in the forum.
For me, the most trusted is if you are a forum staff, manager of decent campaigns, and escrow members who held thousands of dollars on their wallets. But if the trust score is only for lending crypto, swapping, or exchange crypto I don't see any reason to trust unless if that account position was one of what I mentioned above. Never trust member or look after the trust score on profile, always use escrow for any transactions you have. When it comes to huge money, everyone will turn bad if they are needed.

Don't be too complicated to be a good member of this forum. all you have to do is obey all the rules on this forum. Become more creative and more open to everyone's opinion. Have a good discussion in this forum.

It is best if you can be involved in any discussion that you understand. To gain some trust, it takes a struggle to be trusted by other members. We who are here also started from a newbie. stay consistent with what you do.

Sucking up to the DT Trolls or standing behind them while they eternally Troll those around them (especially the ones they perceive as threats to their fifedims) might get a few cheep laughter at others expense, but it's a slippery slope you don't want to go down if you want to hold your head up high later on.

I'm just doing my thing here, I'm doing my best to contribute a lot in this forum.

I'm really not aiming for a merit, I'm just making posts that is full of sense, informative, and important so that other users here will become informed or learn something that I know. Especially that having a critical discussions with other people is really necessary to give opinions and understand different point of views.

In order to become a trusted member, you should learn first a lot things regarding cryptocurrency, scams, blockchain technology, trading, and etc. Just don't violate any rules and don't involve in those scams that are circulating in many platforms.

Yep, the fact is not how many posts were made and how much merit was earned. As long as the members do it in an honest, the process of developing trust for him self will be good, trust from other member will also increased for him.

However, keep in mind that even a member being a DT is not a guarantee that someone will truly be trusted, this has happened before. Same as a green positive feedback on their profile.

End note:
I think @OP already get the feedback how to become trusted member here, maybe we can leave this thread.

Well, I was expecting some concrete figures (eg. after 1-2 years with constant activity), the general approach I was able to deduce myself as I have 20 years exp in online interaction.
On craigslist, eBay or other auction sites people are being trusted quite easy for doing trades, not the case here so it's kinda frustrating for the honest new members that they cannot trade without escrow, but, I understood the reasons since you have quite several lessons that all should learn.

Why do you need to become a trusted member? What is your goal after you regonized as one of trusted member on here? What will you gonna do after you get many trust from people?

There are some people who trade for 1 year and can't be trusted enough, there are some people who trade less than 1 year but trusted enough by many people. Trustworthy is very subjective, you can't compare how long you must do something to earn enough trust and being trustworthy for them.

Why don't go to your local exchange and exchange your crypto to fiat? You will pay lesser fee than trade with people on here

Trust have to be earned in real life and forum aswell.
You would not trust a stranger walking on the street asking you to trust him and it same in any forum.

Mine is a long process, I am more concentrated on establishing my contribution here in Bitcointalk I have not done escrows on some of my transactions I only do this to people with high ranks I prefer doing it on high ranks members than newbies, because of the risk, it took me 5 trades to get a good rating, it doesn't have to be that long, but the amount for me it is a big factor.

You shouldn't be desperate in order to earn another person's trust, it would definitely come with ease provided you trust the wait and embrace the uncertainties. Even without rating yourself, there are other silent watchers that are definitely watching over your performances either good or bad. With time, every bits of your performances on the forum would surely pave the way of gaining other's trust with ease and without any form of stress. The most important factor is to always put in the best in everything we do on the forum, so that our output and commitment will always rate us. The more we contribute well, the better for us.

Trust takes a lot of time to earn just like how long you earn respect from someone.

You need to show in this community that you truly deserve trust and respect if you earn it. I know that most of us here are doing their best just to have that from those Legendary users here or Moderators. Just continue what you are doing and improve yourself in posting every single day and don't rush things.

Things really takes time and I want you to understand that if something is easy to earn then that's not worth it.

In terms of being a trusted member here in the forum, there are plenty of ways on how you can be one. You can start through making sure that you are following the rules and guidelines of the form and even with the moderator if you are within a campaign at the present time. Make sure that everything you are saying are all reliable and are based on real researched information. Avoid spam posting, you need to make sure you obey the interval strictly and lastly, do not be involved or take part on a scam, or else you'll get a red trust or worst, get banned.
