I use bitaddress.org to generate brain wallet for bitcoin. Is there a brain wallet for ERC20 token such as chainlink? I don't want to buy a hardware wallet.

Thanks very much!

I would advise you to stop using bran wallets. Human-generated wallets tend to be rather easy to guess by other humans (and machines).

If you don't want to spend any money on a hardaware wallet, there are still plenty alternatives for both ethereum, any of it's tokens and bitcoin. Most of them are free and open source, and using them with some rather adequate opsec will save you a couple of scares if someone ever finds the word/s you've used to generate the brain wallet

Brainwallet for ERC20 token is not safe based on what I heard out there.

If you don't want to buy a hardware wallet and want a safe wallet for your ERC20 token stay with myetherwallet.
They have a guide on how to use their wallet as cold storage and how to make a transaction offline which I think more safe than generating a Brain wallet online.

Here's the guide https://kb.myetherwallet.com/en/offline/using-mew-offline/

For Bitcoin (BTC)
You could try checking this thread created by the former forum member Lauda in the Beginners and Help section. I'd also advise you to check that board because there's many useful information for newbies there. From that list, any wallet will do, but the easiest to use is usually Electrum

For Ethereum or ERC20 tokens; MEW will do, you can check the above post from BitMaxz to see a guide on how to set it up.

Altough you said you didn't want to buy a hardware wallet, I'd suggest you do. They are not really expensive; and the security they provide is worth every penny.
Also, as a personal tip, I'd advise you to steer clear of any DeFi, ICO, IEO, whatever name the new HYPE scam trend has; because you will either loose time, money, or both

I strongly discourage you from generating brain wallets. They are extremely unsafe and your funds could easily get stolen. A recent research by Bitmex Research highlighted how bitcoins sent to addresses of generated brain wallets got swept away within seconds

Thank you for your answer.

I don't use these simple phrases for brain wallet. I use complicated ones. I am afraid if I use a hardware wallet I may lose it.

Could you please answer my original question?

I want something like bitaddress.org to generate public key to send my ERC20 token to, then use a trustworthy wallet like Electrum to import the private key and send the ERC20 token to exchanges for sale.

Thank you.

Based on the general information included in my dissertation, you can find out more service created a stunning sum-up in an introductory chapter. A good thing to be given is a scheduled regular update from their writer who was making sure I get all I need and when I need it. Thanks a lot for the job you do. I`m grateful for being their client.
