Metamask airdrop is coming

I will be surprised if Metamask airdrop is as big as Uniswap because we have so many Metamask users and also its so easy to create multiple Metamask ETH addresses, they will give away millions to some users, another thing is this airdrop might never happen.

IMO, If we take into consideration the Metamask airdrop is highly possible but it is not like the way as Uniswap airdrop was executed, because based on the article they don't want to give such airdrop benefits to those so-called airdrop farmers so I guess it's not that easy to get any Metamask token through airdrop without any stricter condition so let us wait if this Metamask airdrop will push through.

Its seems that metamask retrospective airdrop is very near

 In an August 2021 community call, the MetaMask team openly discussed the possibility of a token launch. And just last month, MetaMask’s lead of operations “Jacobc.eth” told DeCrypt that a token launch wouldn’t be a “cash grab” and wouldn’t put governance into the hands of “airdrop farmers”

With more than 30 million monthly active user on metamask (as a wallet) i wonder how will be the filtering and who will be the real metamask user, do you guys have an idea about this?

Indeed, the current Metamask users are quite high, 30k users are counted from active users. The mainet system is currently available on the metamask platform. This makes it easier for blockchain developers to work with Metamask. Connection with a decentralized platform also makes Metamask more active compared to other platforms.
If Metamask develops a coin even with much lower transaction fees than others, then Metamask coin will become the target of investors.

This airdrop will be very big . In previous Dydave their Dex users a very good profit. Criteria of Metamask will be not easy for everyone. May be they ask for 5 minimum swap on Etherum network and total volume 1k+. Many users swap token in December just for airdrop but majority of users used Bsc or Polygon chain. I am waiting for two potential airdops Metamask and Opensea

I think not everyone will be eligible for Metamask airdrop. It is written on the news:
"MetaMask could be seeking to reward legitimate, longtime users. If that’s you, perhaps you already qualify for a future airdrop"
That means the airdrop is for only real users of metamask, this is really good because bots and airdrop farmers can't participate.

It will be interesting to see this airdrop, I hope it won't turn out like the recent expected airdrop, when the party was ruined by bots. Considering the fact that MetaMask is a very popular wallet and many people used it at different times, in order to make this airdrop good, the creators should either choose a very early period of wallet usage to generously reward early users or the airdrop will be very large (because of its popularity) and the airdrop will be very scarce. You can not hope for Uniswap airdrop, it is unlikely that this airdrop will be more than $50 in their tokens.
