in theory, it should be possible, as pure water is dielectric. But, as you say, NoNoNo....
mineral oil food grade, but i don't know where i can find it here. there are oils, but vegetal, and quite viscose in my opinion.
I would look for liquid silicone, or something like this.
There is transformer oil available, but how good is it? i read different opinions about it for immersion cooling, but i am biased about using it. There is repsol dielectric oil available and dialax from shell.
but, is there any suggestions for liquid more widely available? or maybe a mix of available components?
My main problem is that during the day, the ambient outside temperature, since more than 3 month, does not go under 35 ºC (95ºF), so i have huge problems with my air cooling.
My asic for the tryout purpose is an avalon 166pro
