Resolved : Cloudbet stealing my funds

Well I hope they soon get back to you of course and I can understand it is annoying if you can only go through the normal customer service and it takes that long. For now there is probably nothing than you can do.

You say you wager so much, are you usually betting with ETH or how did this mistake happen at all? Have you been a long-term VIP customer with Cloudbet? Which cryptos do you usually use?

I can do many things including already reported the case to the licenser and theyr on it after it am gonna file police report if they insist on not refunding back.

This will only hurt them now moving forward my account is empty and whatever i do now will only hurt their image as am right demanding what is mine

Well i do bet in busd and eth but on that error previously in minutes i accepted opensea nft offers and u know it cames in weth instead of swapping it to eth and send to cloudbet i forgot and send them the weth.

And yes am vvip from 4 years with top tier anyone can reach on platform ! Even that and theyr not appreciating it lol

I got issue with cloudbet i deposited 1.6 weth instead of 1.6 eth and been month they not refunding me
Now eth and weth same address as erc20 am a coder all they need access private key of ny wallet eth and refund me been 3 weeks not willing to do that

Since they control private keys of eth its so easy to refund and almost month no will to refund me i did raise this to Curaçao eGaming ("CEG") and did file complaint

If anyone here knows anyone in cloudbet director or anyone in power please let me know this is day light robbery
Also am diamond vvip holder for 4 years with them they should address me way better instead of them doing nothing .

Unbelievable i wake up today 10/4/2023 i see 1.6 eth credited to my cloudbet !!!!

Now thats a resolution as honest man i like this even it took month ! Late better then never !!

I appreciate all the comments and feedbacks from people here am sure this topic here made things faster for resolution as iv let them know about it to my vip manager !

I will move on with this incident and continue playing with then like it never happened the fact they show the refund gesture means alot !

You need to do two things. 

1. Admit it was your fault.
2. rename the thread and close it.

Yeah you can continue to play at cloudbet but remember to deposit the right amount in the right chain. I can understand your frustration when you deposited 1.6weth instead of eth and had to wait for a whole month to get that money back. If this issue was resolved earlier, you could have bet with this amount and perhaps double it by now (As you are experience VVIP holder at cloud bet).

okay, that's good to hear, but perhaps next time double check your information before proceeding with your transaction to prevent/avoid problems like this in the future. anyway, good luck!

I wouldn't be so sure about you saying that they are not liable or obligated to send that money back. It is a totally different story if you send a token to the wrong network, but he sent the wrong token to the right network, to the right wallet. At least in my country if I were to order a watch for 5k and the merchant mistakenly sends me a 15k watch, I can't keep it and I have to return it as long as the merchant can prove that the watch was sent to my address. In this case OP sent funds to the address dedicated to him personally but controlled by Cloudbet. Of course they should return the funds. Apart from the legal stuff now, come on... They probably hold WETH themselves, so why not credit ETH and keep the WETH. I wouldn't even raise the point of TOS here. It's ridiculous if they have access and refuse to correct the mistake. I would rather understand if they charge a moderate, plausible fee for the investigation and extra work. 

I quote myself for that matter because I get the point that it's sometimes troublesome to push this issue through to the person that is actually controlling the private key within the company. But I was very surprised at their overall approach since at some point they are emptying those addresses anyway. Why not credit your account with ETH then?
