I got issue with cloudbet i deposited 1.6 weth instead of 1.6 eth and been month they not refunding me
Now eth and weth same address as erc20 am a coder all they need access private key of ny wallet eth and refund me been 3 weeks not willing to do that

Here proof of my money in their wallet

Also am diamond vvip holder for 4 years with them they should address me way better instead of them doing nothing .

NB : Fully resolved they credited me 1.6 eth on the website .

You did not share any informations about what they said after you contacted with them. Or did not you cantact yet? If you did please share the details also to understand the situation better.

Have you contacted them yet? what exactly have they said to you regarding this issue? your post is not clear if you have talked to their support. sujonali1819 shared with you who their representative is but as you can see they haven't been online for months now. I am not sure if there is someone here in the forum(aside from their representative) that knows someone who is a part of cloudbet.

Casino usually have a note to deposit the exact token to avoid potential loss. They are not liable or obligated to refund you for sending wrong token. WETH is a wrapped token which is a different token to ETH. The casino needs to import their private key on a wallet like Metamask just to recover your funds despite they have same ERC20 wallet address. Casino hot wallet is too precious to be import on a close source wallet because it holds huge funds. It’s not easy as you imagine on recovering your tokens on their wallet address.

Cloudbet is long inactive here in the forum. You should contact live support to solve your case. For the record, This is not a scam attempt and it’s wrong to accused them due to your own fault.

I believe icopress was their campaign manager last year. It's possible that he could provide you with additional contact information for a casino representative.
I contacted their top manager about similar issues, and he informed me a long time ago that all cases are processed only through the official support service.

If someone wants their case to be resolved, there are no other options but to contact the Cloudbet support service.  Tongue

Most of the casinos, and exchanges always put an alert that if you deposit the wrong cryptocurrency instead of the one you were supposed to. You are thinking that it's pretty much an easier job. Just access the address with the private key and refund the fund. It's an easy process but it's not an easy process when you have to go through support. Because not everyone has the access to the fund; only a few have. Staff/Support have to forward the message and & with enough proof. That's a very lengthy process. Why would they waste their time for a mistake you did?

I wouldn't be so sure about you saying that they are not liable or obligated to send that money back. It is a totally different story if you send a token to the wrong network, but he sent the wrong token to the right network, to the right wallet. At least in my country if I were to order a watch for 5k and the merchant mistakenly sends me a 15k watch, I can't keep it and I have to return it as long as the merchant can prove that the watch was sent to my address. In this case OP sent funds to the address dedicated to him personally but controlled by Cloudbet. Of course they should return the funds. Apart from the legal stuff now, come on... They probably hold WETH themselves, so why not credit ETH and keep the WETH. I wouldn't even raise the point of TOS here. It's ridiculous if they have access and refuse to correct the mistake. I would rather understand if they charge a moderate, plausible fee for the investigation and extra work.

This is a common problem I have seen with so many exchanges where a use mistakenly sends the wrong tokens but in most cases, the services are not willing to recover the use funds even when you know they own the private keys.

What they always keep saying is that the process of trying to recover the tokens is very risk and could expose the deposits from the other accounts to a risk. Others usually ask for a fee in order to recover the funds. OP try their support. They are the only ones who can help you, but I think your chances are slim.

OP, I understand your frustration and I really hope they will help you recover your coins but to be honest, accusing them of stealing is not right as long as they didn't move those coins.
I couldn't find any thing on their ToS on how they are supposed to handle such cases but I found this on their blog:
We will not be able to credit the deposit if you transfer on other networks

As other members have mentioned, only their customer support can help you and considering the amount involved, I believe there is a chance they may consider recovering your coins.

I did contact them same minutes this happened they confirmed they got the funds in there end but in weth not in eth and they requested me to wait few weeks, until 2 days ago i was waiting but 3 weeks passed and nothing is beeing done ( also am a diamond vvip holder not just regular client ) they keep saying wait with no limit of how long i should wait..

Also weth same address as eth and sincd they use cold wallets ( already know this ) they simple add weth of my address and funds are there and refund them to sending wallet .

Saw someone saying it would compromise there private keys by importing to metamask which is not needed at all even !

The problem is they admitted they have my money and its not issue of funds sent to wrong address its totally the oppposite correct address so the refund is indeed should be happening otherwise its stealing then i would know if i send to wrong address in crypto its lost but not the case

I just want someone to refer me to anybody working with them for faster resolution its almost month and nothing happening..

Exactlly i agree on what you said ! Funds are admitted in there end not lost to unknown wallet so refund is must and yes am happy to pay some fees for extra work it happened for me in binance they requested back then 50$ and they sorted it out in day or two ! 3 weeks and nothing it pissing me off

I like this analogy: you walk into a brick and mortar bank (or casino), and drop a golden coin into a crack in the floor. You know it's there, they know it's there, and you want them to recover the coin for you. That means they'll have to spend time and money to start breaking down things while keeping the bank secure.

It's not supposed to be as easy as it is with your wallet at home. Too many exchanges and casinos lost too much money in the past.



Why don't you complain to the owner of the wrapped tokens? You know how it works: not your keys, not your coins. "Wrapped" coins are a terrible creation, and any coins lost are pure profit for whoever created that token.

There seems to be a lot of assumptions in your statement. How can you know that everything is as easy and straightforward as you believe it to be? What if Cloudbet uses a multisig wallet setup for their wallet? What if they employ a third-party payment provider? You cannot jump to conclusions without knowing all the facts.

This is why am upset if funds on your end why taking 3 weeks + and not refunding my money or credit it to platform this is what am argueeing about here

I understand that you are upset and frustrated about the situation, but you also need to acknowledge that it was your mistake that led you to this point. While it is easy to place blame on Cloudbet or other external factors, you need to recognize your own role in this. Calling Cloudbet scammers at this point will not solve anything, and can actually make things worse. You should approach this situation with a level-headed and objective mindset, and work with them to find a solution.

Saw someone saying it would compromise there private keys by importing to metamask which is not needed at all even !
With any decent secure setup for an exchange (and casino), there's not a single person with access to private keys.

I don't know what it currently looks like, but a while ago it cost 30 Euro to get Bitcoin Cash recovered when you sent it to your normal Bitcoin address at a German exchange. It is the most reputable exchange in Germany and I am sure they have security measures in place that can live up to relatively decent standards. The fee was flat (and still is I believe), no shenanigans and directly deducted with your consent from your account.

@LoyceV, you are absolutely right that it's not like "they have my private key, two clicks and there we go", but if you take the example of the golden coin dropping into a brick, why not allow the customer to pay a company to recover it? The analogy is also not correct. The case you brought up is likely to be solved by an external expert. This is clearly a case that might take time, but could be done fully internally. They should just raise an additional fee, but if the exchange in Germany can do it for 30 Euro flat, I am sure Cloudbet can do it as well. Even if they deduct 0.1 WETH (which would be ridiculously high), OP could put the case to rest as a costly lesson.

By the way: I have been using Cloudbet without issues for almost a decade now. I am indeed surprised.

Ok mate you seems you are missing the fact that 23 days passed already ! Am not nagging on day or day 2 and you and i can appreciate its not rocket science to make the refund the max they can do “ service fees” for 50-100$ and make it happen .

Keeping my money for 3 weeks + without resolution = scammers
Now someone will tell me yeah they didnt move the money ! Oh well they can not move it also and its considered in there books as its there address simple !

All i want my money refunded and yeah am happy to pay cost for what they may ask extra time needed to recover them !

Beside that am not giving up on my money when i know and everyone knows here that its not lost money not that case

Hey man, yes if they told me they want extra fees to speed this as if its considered extra job am happy to do it but keeping the money and almost month in that is now daylight robbery

Am a diamond vvip with them even with years also, on my first issue with them instead of providing service that suits the maximum tier on there platform theyr disregarding me by thinking i will let this go

I already raised complaint to the licenser of them and they saw what i raised is fair complaint and now case is up and they did email them lets see what cloudbet have to say..

For me its simple refund me with whatever fees ( logic one ) and this matter is closed
Not refunding me after this licenser case am taking it to police since i have records of cloudbet email admitting they got my money and month passed not wishing to refund so its like they admitted guilty easy case

Its not about money for me more then i hate beeing stolen 3k is nothing i bet 500k-1m$ monthly bets

Its all about principles ! Money admitted in your end, not refunding me = robbery and scam ! Cant make it simple then that ( considering month is passed also )

Well I hope they soon get back to you of course and I can understand it is annoying if you can only go through the normal customer service and it takes that long. For now there is probably nothing than you can do.

You say you wager so much, are you usually betting with ETH or how did this mistake happen at all? Have you been a long-term VIP customer with Cloudbet? Which cryptos do you usually use?
