Yes he can severely influence the price of the coin as I am sure many people follow him and find him inspiring enough to follow just about anything he does but at the end of the day it’s us investors who get to decide whether dogecoin is valuable enough to buy or not.

I do not really check X, but I am sure that if Elon was twitting about it, those that are enthusiastic about meme coins would have created several threads about it already, so just because Elon has not exercised that influence recently, most likely because he was advised by his lawyers to not do it, it does not mean that it does not exist.

As I am sure that if Elon just posted an image of an unknown meme coin, such action will be more than enough to make it pump for days or even weeks.

If I remember correctly he did post a cryptic image which looked like a meme coin in 2023 or in end of 2022. The coin did pump in a bear market and every meme coin investor went FOMO at that time. He still holds a lot of influence in the crypto sphere and is the only the non crypto entrepreneur in the world who started the meme coin revolution.

I agree with you. Dogecoin has reached a tired phase and it will be difficult to reach the $1 target as some say. I don't have any expectations on Dogecoin at the moment. It's hard to guess. It's one of the most decentralized and secure coin. There are no other memecoins comparable to Dogecoin in security and decentralization. People may argue it to be the bitcoin of Meme. It certainly is the first meme coin and has the pioneer bias and a headstart. The downside of Dogecoin is its ever growing supply and energy intense mining for confirming the transactions. Another unexpected friend of Dogecoin is Elon Musk who is associated with the rejuvenation of this coin.
Personally, I won't invest in Dogecoin as other memecoin have better chances of making you rich.

If you already have to hold dogecoin then continue your holding because if you are selling your coin with loss then it is not a good idea so I will suggest that you continue your holding. I personally wouldn't tell anyone to hold it, I understand that it may look like it is good to hold but in most cases it is not good to hold a memecoin. I would prefer to hold something else, bitcoin for one of course, but if we are talking about alts then I would say ETH, BNB, ADA, MATIC, SOL, and even XRP would be better, ok maybe not the last one but I would still prefer not to hold dogecoin during this period.

This is why it is quite important to realize that we are not going to make any money from this, we need to see how we could improve better than we hope. The point is that we are going to get a better result one way or another, and to do that we need to just consider how we could pick something much better than doge.

the main thing that become a turn off for considering doge coin as an investment is the market capital IMO.
the coin has reached its peak probably, wherever its going its not gonna be as big achievement as it was before, climbing from really small price to bigger one is good, but difficulty exponentially increases.
so its not gonna be easy for doge coin to pump, now even most of newer investors are putting their money at stake for other meme coin.

Dogecoin still has a good future since it overcame most of its counterparts throughout the years of its success and now it is still one of the next altcoins overall and the number one Memecoin. You can put it in your to-invest list of altcoins because it has the potential to grow even further and it is one of those altcoins that will gonna be successful in the upcoming bull runs but take note when investing in altcoins and especially memecoins such as this one, you need to be vigilant when it comes to selling it at the right time or else you won't be getting the highest price possible to sell because others are quick when it comes to selling them when their price is at ATH.

I think dogecoin is one of those coins which always perform good in bull market. Past market performance shows doge always follow BTC in uptrend action. So in next bull run it is one of those to watch out for. Assuming buying now and even if it reaches its ath, one can get handsome profit.
