It won't be randomly, they ready a group or channel with community of gamblers ready to risk their resource. ~

Something like Telegram channels? I am not sure how it works but if it's a random one related to entertainment the numbers can be quite big but to build a community specific for gambling tipster, that would take a lot of time unless they use bot accounts and with real people not much from the total community size. Either way, someone who makes money should take responsibility when it comes to spending it too but the greed to make easy money consumes people and make them to victim of such scams.

Recently, I watched a video on youtube about a sports betting scam and wanted to share what I learned. I found this technique simple, and it surprised me how people may fall victim to maths. This is called a reverse pyramid scam, well, it looks legit, but it’s all just a numbers trick.
First, this scam works well with horse racing and soccer, but we will focus on horse racing in our example.
Let’s say there’s a race with 6 horses. The scammer, let’s call him Robin , shares different betting tips with different groups of ppl. For instance, if Robin has 100K emails, he sends a different horse tip to each group of about 16.6K people (one group per horse).
The idea is that only one group gets the correct tip. For the next race, Robin will repeat the trick again and again until he has a total of 210 people (or something close to) with 3 correct tips in a row... next step, he asks them to pay $500 or $1K for the next tip. If even 100 people pay, which is less than half, he will make around $50K to $100K without ever knowing which horse would win. He collects the money and simply disappears ...
Actually, when you ask a scammer Why do you sell tips instead of doubling your winnings by yourself? he will tell you that bookies have banned him because of the large amounts he made (so he prefers selling tips instead)... This is a universal response. A stupid argument but it still works !!
I know that expert bettors already know about the reverse pyramid scam, but it's good to warn new players, especially those looking for a quick fortune.

There's no such thing as a gambling expert or professional, people need to realize this and stop falling for these traps out there.. overtime I have learnt to trust my intuition and learn to improve my skills as a bettor, tipsters nowadays are just scammers and it's infuriating to know that a lot of people still fall victims to such, buying ideas from someone else has always been absurd to me because I know it's a scam

And why would people make bets for receiving random tips through email from someone they don't know or have ever known? Someone has to be a fool to trust someone that easily. You will have more chances of winning if you make a bet yourself instead of making bets after receiving tips through random email messages. I don't think that many dumb people exist in the sports betting industry, and if there are, a person wouldn't be able to get 200k of them so that he can finally have a good profit from the scam. Most of them wouldn't even bet, and those who do, wouldn't do it twice if they lose.

So, in my opinion, such scams won't work these days, and even if they do, the outcome wouldn't be as good as you described it, and the scammer might only manage to get a few hundred dollars or something after doing all that hard work and spending so much time. I'm pretty sure no scammer would do that much only for such a small amount because they can easily do other tricks and make more money.

A quick and useful advice is that no one helping you set top is doing it because they like you, I have been in the betting world for a long time and I know people using numerous betting tips site but their fortune in betting hasn't really changed positively.
I am not a fan of horse race(I have only played it few times) but I will not go for tips from anyone and really anyone sharing top should be checked for match fixing.

This type of scam will only work for people who doubt themselves or are desperate to win at all cost. If you think you should be betting on horses then you should try as much as possible to do it yourself.

Scammers are ready to take as long to build a community of victims, gaining several people in a group is easy, they only have to join groups with large chats activities that has two many persons and spam their reference link to the chat, also make use of social medias like Facebook and X (Twitter) where followers can be bought. Where the main scam happens are mostly in telegram and WhatsApp because informations are more concealed without people to jeopardize their victims interest.

So, it's a tipster that's full of BS that only scams people that subscribes to his channel and tips? This is pretty bad for those people that are gullible that they think tipsters are real. While maybe there are a very few number of them that are real. But, it's not always a daily thing that many will win from the tips of these people. I don't think that they'll exist long than this because as you've exposed this trick, there will be other victims that are going to make an expose' due to the fact that they don't want others to be tricked again. Anyway, there is a reason why I don't believe on tipsters.

That is for those what aren't strong enough or knowledgeable enough for them to seat at a place to make their prediction. There are people who don't know how it works except they subscribe to a community where they can be sharing some of their games online or in a community, and whatever they share in common group.
A real gambler should be able to know things about whatever thing he wanna gambled on., that is why I hardly make used those people or even belonging to those groups.

The most popular betting scam I know currently but it seems the name changed from the usual, it's very much common in my country where even we'll know celebrities market or promote channels or groups where tips are sold. As far as I know it's success rate is very high even though it's popular, the quest to become rich over thing by the poor masses makes them fall victim of the scam even knowing fully well that it's a scam, yet they will take the risk just to tempt themselves with conviction that life is a risk.

However, some of the results are real results not edited but the problem is that they posted results are not the type of tips they give if you pay or even if you paid you will probably not hear from them anymore.

Tipsters before were also scammers as it has been a means scammers look for victims, not only just nowadays. Yes, they use something like they are experts to convince people and show them fake proves at times. I know them and know their tactics, although this one on the OP is new to me but I can not be scammed this way because I know when I should avoid scam. Anyone that thinks I can be the source of their money through their illegal tactics of scamming are only wasting their time.

This type of scam will only work for people who doubt themselves or are desperate to win at all cost. If you think you should be betting on horses then you should try as much as possible to do it yourself.

Not just horse racing but all sports.

These scams usually happens mostly on x and telegram, sometimes scammers hack the accounts of prominent people with huge amount of followers to advertise these fake tips, people who come across those pages only pay attention to it because they feel like the person promoting such is a public figure or perhaps the person has some integrity. But little do they know that it's simply an impersonation

Sometimes, these things can happen as deperate measure for someone who started looking to make more money in the point A but they end up in a place somewhere Z, that how things can be distracting when they just look for money and when someone claims that they are proven tipster with so and so accuracy will make them to beleive in things they say even when they know it is not how it works. If making money was their goal they should never assume gambling is a way to go because it just opposite of what they assume and end up in wrong side with financial loss.

I only trust bets from reputable and trustworthy sources, where I can verify the identity and statistics. This is because if you are giving tips, they should be something worth betting on, as you are putting your hard-earned money and trust in the tipster.
I am generous with a good tipster, but he needs to earn my trust first before I follow his tips.

This kind of people have no regards for their own money and just picks the first thing they see. I personally would not want to buy something from a tipster but if I were to, I would at least look at the reviews and his stats to see if I can at least get some of my money worth.

I am generous with a good tipster, but he needs to earn my trust first before I follow his tips.

Being more careful about any statistics that others give can certainly prevent unwanted losses and even losses caused by others.
After all, foreigners who give their statistics publicly certainly have a purpose behind it, they need easier profits by influencing others.

I also wouldn't believe betting tips that are spread on social media or random groups that I don't know about.
