ICP - Good investment?

ICP reached an all time high of almost £450 in May 2021 but is currently trading at £5.

I understand we are in a bear market but this is a massive drop and wondering if it is worth an investment.

I am not sure if it will get back anywhere near its all time high again but if it was to only get back to £100 that is a 20x from current price.

Is anyone invested or know anything about ICP and if its worth it?

The $460 was an artificial price, which is why it collapsed so quickly. This altcoin has fallen a lot in the last 2 years and is now a good buy, relative to its past prices. I think if you buy it now, you can get a good profit in a few years. DYOR. The only thing that confuses me is the endless issue, and unless there are some deflationary mechanisms there, inflation could drop the price of this asset even more.

As I read in the forecasts, it is said that ICP is a bad long-term investment. The coin is expected to plummet to $1.826 in a year. There is also a forecast that by the end of March 2024, the coin will cost less than a dollar. DigitalCoin expects the coin to rise steadily, predicting $81.70 by the end of the decade.

It may be going down again. There will be so many tokens to be unlocked every month.

I think that if what you have said was true. It's caused by the inflatio will be also eating the ablity for ICP to go up. I meant people who got their tokens from vesting period will be selling their tokens to the market instantly.

This is not a good coin for long term.

It is better to ignore ICP, when I look at the charts the only thing I see is a coin which failed to live up to its hype, the coin reached its ATH almost immediately and since then it has been collapsing nonstop, this is not really what you want to see in a coin that you think it may make a comeback.

So even if on the near future the coin went up a little bit there are still a lot of bagholders which will take the opportunity to sell and finally cut their losses, a process which will make it even harder for any kind of recovery to take place as such bearish pressure will always be there.
