I am from a country where crypto currencies are strongly legalized. I know about the hardware wallet security it's best for the long-term bitcoin holder. Now is there anyway to import a hardware wallet to any country where crypto currencies are illegal ?
And one more things I wanna know that how can I chose a best budget friendly hardware wallet?

Actually this is not true. A hardware wallet can actually paint a target on you, AND is USELESS for long term storage (flash memory can't retain data for long).

Do you know what works? paper and pencil. Something to write down the 12 seed words by hand. Hide that well. You can also be creative about it, like take a book and mark some words in a way only you understand.

Use safe and secure software, Linux or bsd, no windows. It costs nothing, it is not illegal.

If cryptocurrencies are banned in your country, avoid ordering hardware wallets directly from online shops outside your nation. There might be a network of individuals involved in supplying hardware wallets, so finding trustworthy suppliers is crucial. Some wallets may manage to bypass customs detection, but you'll need to conduct a thorough investigation to identify them as I don't have specific names to provide.

Alternatively, you could seek assistance from someone you trust, who resides in a country where cryptocurrencies are allowed. They could help you acquire a hardware wallet and make the process easier for you.

Instead of exposing yourself to any risk, even to 1%, they may summon you and investigate you legally and ban the entry of hardware and confiscate it in your country. They have your full name and residence address in detail (your information as a buyer). You are not anonymous to them. You should ask one of your friends or citizens who live in your country who managed to buy a hardware wallet and it reached them smoothly, and you should know the customs laws and the laws related to banning cryptocurrencies well.

I advise you instead either to buy another computer on which you put any popular decentralized desktop wallets for Bitcoin or flash USB memory (16GM) and put on it the Tails distribution, which is one of the Linux distributions. You can download Electrum, or you will find it installed in the Tails distribution. Now you have a cold hardware wallet at a low cost and with a security open-source system and encrypted connections through Tor.

If I were you, I'd avoid using/buying hardware wallet. Just use Electrum or any other solid reputable wallet that should be enough. If you're particularly security conscious, set up an air-gapped device. That's not complicated to do, you should be able to find some instructions here on Bitcointalk.

He is from Bangladesh, a country still with a strict ban on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, so it would be unwise for the OP to still find a way to buy hardware wallets. Instead, we also have secure solutions like hardware wallets as you mentioned. Yes, an air-gapped device is becoming more popular than a hardware wallet after the controversy caused by Ledger. To be honest, I am still using Trezor hardware wallet but I am also planning to switch to air-gapped device because all hardware wallets are produced by centralized companies and controlled by the government, so it is difficult to predict what they will do.

I have to admit that I was surprised what I read it here. Bangladesh has banned crypto, and just having a crypto wallet is enough to get jailed. What madness. Well, every mobile device can be a wallet for cryptocurrency, is owning one also punishable? How stupid is the one who designed such a law and still enforces it?

Ledger arrived for me, where the parcel is characterized as a USB flash memory, I believe that such a way can work in this case as well.

It's a pretty stupid regulation if just installing a crypto wallet ends up in jail.
Who's going to check everyone's phone whether they have it installed or not anyway.

If it is indeed strict in giving regulations without crypto at all, blocking everything related to crypto would be good enough rather than just applying to the law but there is no direct application to the ecosystem itself.

Congratulations on your Ledger arrival even though it is characterized as a USB flash drive, it is just a simple camouflage and the Customs people will not know it.
But why do you still trust Ledger? There is a Phrase feature that can be extracted (a controversial feature).

I'm lucky that I'm in a country where Crypto is evolving and developing my guess is their governments only want the money from their wallet, not the Crypto itself.

If their customs knows how to check the parcels and knows about Crypto I don't think it would work but if you can communicate with the seller and tell them to replace the box instead of the ledger box with a sealed maybe it would work.

Crypto is not illegal in my country. Hardware wallets are available on regular sale.
By the way, I got Ledger in a prize contest, just before the last scandal with recovery keys. I only use it for some testing and fun, Trezor is still my main wallet.

Ban or no ban, Bitcoin hardware wallet was meant to be used privately, it increases your level of security for your assets compare to someone who always tell everyone that he has Bitcoin wish can attract criminals to his door or lead to arrest if Bitcoin is ban in the country.

Even if government warned you not to get involve with Bitcoin, how will they know if you do? I think the Ban is for the banks, meaning you can't publicly exchange Bitcoin into your local currency anymore unlike before, this was what happened when crypto was banned in my country and that was when I learned how to use Peer 2 Peer trading.

I think it's the same with what OP is saying, the Ban will only affect your Fiat to Crypto or Crypto to Fiat exchange.
He said that involvement with Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies is strictly prohibited, and another guy from his country said that people are getting arrested if they are caught having any involvement with Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, whether it's buying or selling, storing them, or buying and selling Bitcoin related hardware like wallets or miners, so I'm pretty sure that it is not just about banks and transactions going out and coming in into bank accounts related to Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.

I would suggest OP simply keep things to himself if things are actually this serious within his country because if authorities come to know about his involvement with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, they can take strict actions against him and his family, and they might close down their bank accounts or even put them in prison for going against the law.

A worldwide shift toward crypto acceptability is worth noting. Digital currencies and blockchain technologies are gaining attention from governments throughout the world. Thus, it could be beneficial for the OP to lobby for a change in legislation in his nation. The path ahead is long and winding, and there is no promise of a happy ending. Perhaps, though, it's preferable to strive for change rather than cower in secret

It depends on what exactly is forbidden in your country. There are many aspects of legal status of cryptocrrency: legal status of mining (restrictions and regulations of mining facilities), legal status of wallets (the presence/absence of law, that declares the right/prohibiton to have wallet software and hardware), legal status of profit in crypto, legal status of crypto transactions etc... legal status of crypto hardware wallets is only one of these legal statements, which has the chance to be officially allowed even if cryptoindustry is banned. So, I think, you can check the laws of your country: it can be legal even if crypto is illegal. And, most probably, if it's legal, you can find the store which sells ledgers officially and vice versa: the absence of official shops is the sign of illegal status of ledgers. And if it's illegal, I think that it's better not to risk...

I don't think that a hardware wallet is the thing to have.
A non custodial wallet is much more practical. Easier to hide.
You don't even need a wallet. Just the Passfrase and/or your private keys to restore a wallet when you need it.

A better alternative to this is just buying a spare accessible HDD (hard disk drive) or SSD from your local computer parts shop and using that as your makeshift paper wallet. Just download electrum or whatever regular wallet app on that particular hard disk, make sure you can pull it out of your pc whenever you want to (I advise using a dongle instead of connecting it directly to your motherboard) and then from there, you got yourself a hardware wallet that is virtually as secure as your regular trezor, just don't connect it through the internet and only transact in equal amounts and you should be good to go.

Or better yet, if you're risking prison time just don't. Bitcoin is good and all that, but you can't spend your money in prison.

I would like to think that going to another country where it is legal or not really legal to buy the hardware wallet is better, but simply relocating is best.
If family or friends or business can't be left behind in such instance, sourcing other faithfuls who have idea on crypto or still have crypto secretly is a great way to know which is best method in keeping your coins on the decentralized and detached network where no one can detect.
