No mate, you can actually merit someone on your ignore list.
You can merit an ignored user but if you already ignored that user, how do you know posts of that ignored user are good to distribute your sendable merit to that one?

It is a challenge to find quality posts from an ignored user but sometimes you can see quality in quoted posts of the user. It is barely seen by you because it needs to depend on quoted posts, not original posts of an ignored user.

So I am asking this same question again: can someone who is ignored merit the same person that ignored him/her without knowing that he/she was ignored? And will the receiver revive the merits? Finally, if we get merited by someone, many people like to know who merited them (like me), so, for instance, I got merited from someone who I ignored. Will I still see the profile or not?

Somehow the title you use does not reflect the content of your writing. Maybe it's better if the title is a summary of the contents of the post

Maybe you need to get involved with forum drama once in a while so you can feel the sensation of being ignored and ignored by others. That's not a bad thing, nor does it involve abuse of a trust system

The ignored member's posts are not necessarily bad. Often times, members ignore other members who may have high-quality posts but do not like their opinions, so it is not possible to judge an ignored member by saying that all of his posts are not good.

Many reputable members of the forum have different opinions, so it is good to use the ignore button in this case to prevent useless quarrels and arguments between members. Therefore, in my opinion, the ignore button's primary function is to prevent members from seeing the posts of members who do not agree with them or whose opinions they do not like.
