I had an initial investment of 250 on Shib and now it's over 800. Should I sell and buy some other alt-coin or should I hold? Also what altcoin should I buy? Sorry for the stupid newbie post I'm just not optimistic about Shib since it's a poop coin haha.

SHIB keeps growing. i wouldn't be selling it this early if i were you. this bull run is not over you could make it more than 50x of your initial investment of that SHIB.
just this week alone, it has risen more than 100%. there is a chance that this token will even hit $0.0X if this bullrun lasts up to 2025. leave it be and just wait.

besides the altcoins you are going to buy after have also risen along with Shib. there would have two shitcoins you have to watch out for then. save your time just watch 1 shitcoin, don't add another headache to think about.  

idk about Shib hitting the cent range haha the market cap would have to be at least 5 trillion in market cap. I think ima end up holding either way and just buy other coins with my own pocket money. I have like 100-150 I'm willing to spend currently. I've already spent like 150 on "inverse finance" coin.

Perhaps, it is a meme coin and maybe it is too early for us to think that it was already at its peak price but thinking the vulnerability of this project I believe that selling it now is a good choice. Besides, you make a huge profit already which is good enough to set aside and make at least a safe investment. Selling Shiba for ETH or other top altcoins is a great idea.

However, this would still depend on your plan OP. We just think that this is a good opportunity already to earn, we never know what is next or if the price of Shiba will continue to rise during this bullish season.

Depends on you, if you think getting 800 from 250 is enough, it's better to sell it and buy another potential coin/token, right now we are in the halving hype, why not try buying Bitcoin (BTC) and ride the wave?

If you don't want to choose Bitcoin (BTC) and prefer altcoins, just choose the major altcoins that are in the top 30 of CMC, there are lots you can choose from there.

Indeed, most people will never be satisfied with the profits they get, in my opinion you have made quite a big profit and 250 to 800 is a cool profit.
There is nothing wrong if you want to get much bigger profits because in the crypto world anything can happen. But it is worth considering because I think Shiba will most likely increase your profits, because the bull run in the market is not over yet, it is very likely that Shiba will increase again. And the most important thing is that you have to sell it at the right time.
And there is nothing wrong if you sell it and buy Bitcoin even though you already have it and the most important thing is that you replace it with a coin that is much more profitable, not reducing the profits you have earned.

Once lucky yet he still wants to try other meme coins. This isea is a huge experiment he should take his profit and forget about playing around other meme coins. I feel it is a wrong decisions knowing that shib is one of the top meme coins, including doge coin to.mention only but a few. It will be so painful if he lose his profits he has gained. Shouldn’t you be optimistic about SHIB when you have made over 3X of your initial investment. You can still hold on to it because I personally believe that the market is generally growing, so what SHIB is worth today wouldn’t be what it would be worth tomorrow (Though it’s a memecoin and their tomorrow isn’t guaranteed). Also, if you’re taking out from SHIB, what other meme coin can you trust to not dump on you? (This is the research you have to do).

Are you long term investor or short term investor or a person that buy and sell once he see profit? Shin is meme token that people love, you can't even advice the holders because they so much believe in it more than anything, so I will not advise you to sell it now, live it tmto grow more and then sell it when it has grown more, I learnt that alt season has not even started yet, who knows if that $800 is going to double or triple in couple of some months.

The way you source for $240 to buy shib, you should try another way to look for a means to get money and them invest into another coins that you believe will grow in value just the way you believed in Shiba. You are making investment and you will benefit strongly when the time is right for your investment but please be careful where you put money because altcoins are too risky to put money into.

Sometime back I also invested huge amount in this meme coin, and then I have to be ended with big lost as well because I was not well aware about this all but this lost give me few lessons which are now I am using and doing good in recent hype I have pepe which give me good profit because I bought this on very low price and then keep as I touch good price I sell them which cover my all loses which I also have on shib.
But still I have to give my opinion as never take risk with these meme coins because usually these hit their high quickly and also disappear as well quickly which are surely not stoppable for anyone just try to go with small amounts and quickly trade as well which give you small profit for your investment.

This is not luck, he I vest money in the project and made profits. The same result we do see with other projects if we know what we are doing. Bitcoin has been going bull and many people holding it has been making consistent profits from their holdings.

Well I do not think that will be a good idea for you to do that. Those Shib tokens are up more then 56% in this last week. And I think we will see more gains for this token in the month.

The big gains is cause of the 22,432% increase in the burn rate over a 24 hour period. If you want to buy more alt coins you can do this. But do not sell your Shub tokens for doing it.

An altcoin investor can still make a fortune with his small capital with an efficient capital management strategy. You need to have a plan for your investment before buying it. You should have a target price for selling or taking profit, or a stop loss. Switching your altcoin investment from shib to other altcoins is a risky move because you might not be lucky with the altcoin you choose. It might be better to withdraw your capital and use the profit to reinvest instead. Why not buy the top 5 altcoins instead to lower the risk?

This decision is completely up to you as converting from 250 to 800 is very profitable.  But you can sell it now if you want and hold it if you want.  Before holding it should also give some thought to how long the price can actually pump.  If you suddenly dump your profit 800 is likely to be gone along with your original 250.  Since meme coin and art coin have no specificity.  So I'd say pick them up if you get a small gain and be happy with a small gain.  Because memecoin and alt coin market has no hope.

Though SHIB is not a preferred coin as it's a shit coins but it has given good profit to those who made investment on time and even you have got a good profit. First decide the coin in which you want to invest then think of selling it as you are already in profit keep it in SL mode. At the moment I don't think anyone would be able to suggest you on the Altcoins as most of them would have a good run hence DYOR.
