https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/COPA-v-Wright-Judgment.pdf

the writeup of the judgement has been published. a good read. and can helpout c0bra's case to be rejudged in cobra's favour

That was pretty brutal.

Quote
Dr Wright presents himself as an extremely clever person. However, in my judgment, he is not nearly as clever as he thinks he is. In both his written evidence and in days of oral evidence under cross-examination, I am entirely satisfied that Dr Wright lied to the Court extensively and repeatedly. Most of his lies related to the documents he had forged which purported to support his claim. All his lies and forged documents were in support of his biggest lie: his claim to be Satoshi Nakamoto.

I'm glad the judge saw through Craig's several layers of bullshit. Hopefully we see criminal charges now. I can't see why not given even the judge knows he lied throughout and even got caught fabricating evidence mid-trial. I wonder if Craig is getting ready to bounce from the UK to evade potential prosecution.

The Dr Bitcoin Podcast did an update on the judgment and is worth listening to for all the juiciest bits if you don't want to read the entire thing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWiLW_ASbOk

Next events will be on the 7th with the form of order hearing where you'll hear the injunctive relief we're seeking against Wright, but even with that aside this bullshit isn't over yet:  The lawsuit against exchanges for delisting BSV hasn't been dropped.

Wright has put up millions to cover his opponents costs in order to avoid orders to disclose the funding sources for his litigation.  The odd thing is that it's well known that Ayre is a funding source, -- so what are they so desperate to keep secret?  I wonder if there were parties funding Wright's attack on Bitcoin that would be surprising to learn about?

Regarding this matter, does anyone know more information (such as court document or list of all involved exchange)? I tried google search, but only find 1 relevant result which state csw sue coinbase and kraken[1], while other result only show either exchange delist bsv, csw threat someone or other legal/lawsuit.

i thought ayres stepped back from involvement and it was actually mathew stevens and McGregor that handed over the money to prevent the businesses from being locked up

mcgregor and matthews have the 'assets'(businesses and such) locked into a package. which they own and just pay CSW some 'R&D' money each year for continued involvement. matthews and mcgregor were the big sponsors.. ayres was more of the earlier investor who would get "life story rights"
if the court did lock up the assets(businesses) it would affect mcgregor and mathews ability to sell the businesses. so rationality and common sense is that its matthews and mcgregor that paid the £6m to avoid the businesses being locked up

its not about avoiding knowing whos involved.. the courts already know the players involved even as far back as demorgan and Nguyen
its about matthews and mcgregor not wanting their assets locked up. which they "beleive" is worth billions, over a suit worth £6m so cheap option is pay £6m to keep the "assets" unlocked and able to be sold, transferred, free from being lost in the case

Liars never admit they lie and cheat so all they have left now is to fight until the end.
If there was someone else behind Ayre and Faketoshi who has funding them than they must be either very stupid or insane for burning all this money in trails.
It's funny how their propaganda website Coingeek is not talking much about trail this days Wink

ChatGPT comes in handy when you want a TL/DR sum up of the overall conclusions. For those of you who are interested in a short summary of the last pages 225 - 231 of the court case documentation.

Quote
Summary of Overall Conclusions
Dr. Wright's case that he is Satoshi Nakamoto heavily relied on numerous documents he disclosed, purportedly evidencing precursor work to the Bitcoin White Paper and source code, along with his own testimony. The status of these documents was pivotal in this trial.

Key Points:
1. Scale and Scope of Documents:

  • The Appendix details many documents purported to be precursor work or drafts of the Bitcoin White Paper.
  • Numerous documents were scrutinized for authenticity, with substantial evidence indicating forgery. Madden1's analysis suggested up to 400 documents might be forged, with COPA initially pleading 56 allegations of forgery and later increasing this number.
  • Additional documents introduced at the Pre-Trial Review (PTR) in December 2023 included 97 documents from the BDO Drive and LaTeX files. COPA focused on 47 forgery allegations at trial, and the court found all of them proved.

2. Mr. Madden's Analysis:

  • Dr. Wright’s explanations for document anomalies were unconvincing and failed to address clear forgery indicators. The court accepted Madden's findings of inauthenticity.

3. Extended Period of Forgery:

  • Dr. Wright forged documents over several years, starting in 2014, to support his claim of being Satoshi Nakamoto. This included altering documents related to Tulip Trust and Tulip Trading Ltd.
  • Forged documents were produced throughout this case, with new forgeries appearing as late as the trial period.

4. Classifying Documents:
  • Although there is a technical distinction between ‘forged’ and ‘inauthentic’ documents, all documents found inauthentic by Madden were effectively forged by Dr. Wright.
  • The court concluded Dr. Wright's attempts to prove he is Satoshi Nakamoto represented a severe abuse of the court’s process, involving deliberate production of false documents to support false claims across multiple jurisdictions.

5. Identity Issue:

  • Considering all the evidence, the court found that the case against Dr. Wright being Satoshi Nakamoto was overwhelming. There was no reliable evidence supporting Dr. Wright's claim.

6. Declaratory Relief:

  • The court found utility in granting the declarations sought by COPA, which clarified Dr. Wright’s lack of authorship and copyright in the Bitcoin White Paper. These declarations were necessary to prevent Dr. Wright from making future threats or claims based on these documents.

7. Further Relief:

  • The court deferred the decision on injunctive relief, to be addressed in a future hearing following the judgment hand-down.

Conclusion
The court's extensive analysis found all allegations of document forgery against Dr. Wright proved. The evidence overwhelmingly indicated that Dr. Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto, and his claims were supported by fraudulent documents. The court granted declaratory relief in favor of COPA to ensure justice and prevent future misuse of the courts for similar fraudulent claims.

It's funny how their propaganda website Coingeek is not talking much about trail this days Wink

again stevens and mcgregor are the main sponsors
and this week in a separate case (BSV adorers instigated) they are trying to sue some exchanges for dropping BSV in 2019*, where they wish to fight for "anti-competition actions" where they suggest that the actions of dropping BSV from market listing has lost CSW's sponsors BILLIONS(£9b) in revenue

so by not having the businesses locked up in the COPA case as potential compensation.. stevens and mcgregor can try (if(pfft) they win the anti competition case) to be part of CSW 'class action" and could get billions for the businesses by not having them locked up.. so its obvious they paid the £6m in the copa case to avoid the businesses being locked up

i consider this CSW vs exchanges as CSW's last mad dash for trying to keep his sponsors on his side with his last ditch effort of promising them all ROI for obedient loyalty to his lies
