Well, judging by what you said that you don't know much about the forum yet because you're just a bit new, I don't really think that the answer to your questions will let you know more about the forum. You wanted to know the first person that registered on the forum and how he got to know about the forum, while you forgot to realize that since Satoshi was the person that launched the forum, it is so true that he and his associates would be the first people to register an account on this forum. Others who later joined the forum must have heard about the forum in the same way you did.

That's good info, but I don't think we have any misinformation being shared in this thread because OP asked about 'this forum', and also specifically mentioned "bitcointalk forum" when asking who was the first person to join it, and everything shared in this thread is regarding this forum.

Given the fact that this forum has changed domains from the days it has existed and I wasn’t here from an early time, I can’t possibly answer your question, perhaps you’ve gotten ideas from earlier suggestions but even more so, I don’t see how this question would help you very much on this forum. Mind you, most of the pioneer on this platform are no longer here and the few that remains aren’t as active as you would expect them to be.

It’s simple what needs to be done here, have the forum rules for your guide, you can almost find that in every pinned posts on any board you which to participate in and be active on discussions. If you wish, you could look up somebody for a role model and rather than act like the person, be yourself while following steps that wasn’t exactly left for you.

You can check more in the same order, just keep changing the serial number at the end of the URL, for example, to check who was the 30th member who joined the forum, you go: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=30

If you ask about why they joined the forum initially, we can't know the exact reasons, but at that time, most people who joined the forum were interested in Bitcoin and its technology and they mostly were interested in the technical side of it, etc.

Thank you for this, in addition to the reasons why the earlier people joined, I am sure that some will also join the forum to discover how to make money through Bitcoin for its investment purposes and stay close to the forum its founder is a member for them to learn better about it.

Aside from that, I am pleased to learn further through you, as it's always displayed online that Bitcointalk was created on November 22, 2009, but in reality, the admin is stating otherwise. Besides, it's sad that none of the first users of the forum is active anymore save sirius who signed in recently.
