I joined this forum a few months ago. After entering the forum, I tried to know the situation here. I don't know much about forums. I see people from different countries here. And they have good knowledge about BitcoinTalk. Now my question is, who was the first person to join bitcointalk forum? And how did he know about this forum?

This forum was created by SATOSHI NAKAMOTO and SIRUS. From old posts I have read, this forum was created for discussions , updates and many others stuffs like P2P as long as it relates to bitcoin. However SATOSHI has been inactive for a very long time ( since December 13, 2010, 04:45:41 PM) the current administrator of the forum is now Theymos.

As for this there were a majority of test accounts that were created to test the forum during the earliest period of its creation. Most of them were never real users. But the very first  account that was created was admin since the account profile ID is "1" Check THIS POST for more information.

Bitcointalk is an online community forum, and online community forums such as this one were really hot way back then before modern social media(the likes of Facebook) existed.

It's not that much different than modern social media — you talk about things you're interested in(in this case, Bitcoin/investing/trading), post news/discussions, etc.

If you ask about why they joined the forum initially, we can't know the exact reasons, but at that time, most people who joined the forum were interested in Bitcoin and its technology and they mostly were interested in the technical side of it, etc.

It’s strange for a newcomer registered a year ago not to know such questions. I saw, that you gave recommendations on the rules for using the forum and several other tips. I assume that at the same time, a person will learn the history of the forum’s founders. However, this question is not asked on the correct board, please move it to at least the beginner board.

The forum was created for the primary aim of serving as an avenue where people testing the new technology called Bitcoin could come together to share opinions, personal experiences while using the new digital coin, and possibly problems to get solutions and suggestions from others who may have knowledge about it. And we can all remember that that singular decision, actually helped and skyrocketed the price of Bitcoin to what it is today.

The first person should be Sirius as the founder of bitcointalk.

I once read in an article that before bitcointalk existed, the small bitcoin community already had its own community on other platforms, so it was not difficult for others to know about bitcointalk because they communicated about it (community migration) via that other platforms.

honestly it is very much the same with other social media platforms even if this forum is centered around bitcoin and cryptocurrency you can still talk and discuss about pretty much anything here which is why there are off topic sections

it is more like reddit or quora than it is facebook or x to be honest

Do you really need to know who created though this forum? It's aged already and if I'm in your shoes, instead knowing who is the first person amongst us and he could be no longer active, then why not just go around and see which boards you are interested to know about Bitcoin and other cryptos.

The post you linked to doesn't exist, maybe there's a break in the url. Concerning asking similar questions overtime, I have discovered that so many newbies look confused in the forum. They wouldn't know how to approach the forum. At first, they make some nice impressions but if things not going well with them, they'll leave. After a year, they'll return, forget what they have learnt before and start repeating same questions over again. I have observed this pattern recently among newbies.
However, I love the forum. Hence there's a question, there'll be an answer. But when the victim becomes so dumb, they'll end up in people's ignore list.

What a big contradiction. You managed to search out all the helpful links to guide newbies on the do's and don'ts of this place but you can't do same about this topic you so needlessly created? C'mon bruh, are you confusing yourself or what?
 No need telling him how to go about his way in this place as it clearly show he knows. Sometimes people just attract attention to themselves unnecessarily and even though you aren't frequent here since you registered about a year ago, there are some questions you need to outgrow. I don't even think this post is supposed to be dropped here since it's obvious your intention is to teach those newbies who may be lazy enough to search about such questions, hence it's supposed to be in the beginners and help section.

That's right. Funny enough I clicked the link and it took me to the post Op made last year. He provided some links for newbies, and just like a prophet I gave him a sincere advice and it seems OP didn't follow the advice.

It is nice you have discovered all these links, then I will advice you care for yourself first and give less priority to others like us, we will learn with time.
Since you are able to discover all these links that are difficult to find in the forum, just make out time and read through them, they will help your journey in this forum.

It's unfortunate that I can't give a definite answer to this question but acknowledging that the recognition of knowledgeable Individuals from different regions here pertaining what this forum is designed for which is primarily for bitcoin discussions.
I personally don't know who's first to come into this forum and I think it isn't necessary to ask. What we should be more concern about is the forum potentials and the reputation of the forum.

To become an established user, you have to know some history. This will help you know more about the forum and its history instead of just trying to make as much money from it as possible. Apart from knowledge about bitcoin or other things that you can learn from forums, don't neglect to know a little bit about history.

What kind of forum potential do you mean?
This forum is a discussion forum intended to discuss many things about Bitcoin and everything about it, but not limited to discussing other things on the appropriate board. So what are you worried about about his reputation?

This forum was found by Satoshi Nakamato and co. as others has already stated, and the sole purpose of creation was no other thing but to further educate people about Bitcoin after Bitcoin was created in 2009, so in order to let people know and understand what the goal is, thus the need for community like this became necessary at the time for everyone to join regardless of the country which you're coming from and which since then have had a tremendous success educating more people around the world.

In my opinion it makes no relevance whatsoever that a person  getting to the forum what he/she feel is important to their knowledge in the forum among other useful info's they can gather is asking a question of who first registered or didn't register in forum. The unfortunate part of it is that it's coming from a user that could facilitate links to threads that serves as guide to newbies but couldn't help himself with the search button on this needless question. What a way to put the cart before the horse.
