The movement of bitcoin is like a rollercoster that in the end we will remain calm after the German government liquidates all of it, and it is true after throwing a lot of bitcoin into the exchange now more stable the market is back in green meaning the upward trend will continue.

Those who panic are usually traders especially by using high leverage, while investors will try to survive in any situation when prices are low they will buy because they have the budget to do so, so far don't panic the journey to bullish is still long, there are definitely many more downward twists but we can get through it.

There is no reason for me to dump my Bitcoin when the market is in such negative state. As you can see, the price is nearing to close at $64,000 and this just took in a quick period of time. That's the reason why many aren't going to be moved even with so much negative news in the market. There is no essense of holding there if you're going to be the first one to dump and panic sold. Stop wasting your efforts of holding it when a point of your time comes and the market is in turmoil. These matters are temporary going to happen and after that, we'll be up again. Always remember that the market is going back to the opposite where it came from positively.

The German government has now ran out of Bitcoin to sell. This is probably why the price of Bitcoin has started to recover. Some people want to credit Trump for the rally but that’s nonsense in my opinion. Trump had already been gaining momentum since the debate and this didn’t affect price in a positive way.

There are still billions of dollars worth of BTC that Mt. Gox has yet to distribute so this could bring a lot of volatility in the coming weeks and months.

I don't think that one has to be true while the other is wrong. I do feel that Germany stopped, which is why people are buying. I do not think that price was going down because Germany was selling, we could cover that easily, a few thousand per day, or even over ten thousand a day, we can cover and won't go down if we want to buy, like on bull periods we cover ten times that much daily.

However, people were afraid so along with German government, retail investors sold too, making it much larger and that's why we went down. The recovery could be Trump and German government stopping at the same time, nobody says that it has to be just one of them, it could be all of them all at the same time, and that is why I think that one is true.

It would be nice for me if the German government would sell some more Bitcoins. Even if you invest in the current situation, the profit will not be very good. I have sold part of my investments this year from what I invested last year and took profit. Will invest again so was waiting for a dump. The German government has created that opportunity. If they sold more, I could buy more coins in my hodling bag again.

Germany sold all of their bitcoins so you will have to wait for something else to initiate a small dump. With that being said, Mt.Gox moved today some bitcoin and some exchanges reported receiving it as well so that may cause some price fluctuations.

Then again, somehow I doubt that those who get their bitcoins from Mt Gox will sell massively since we are still like 15-20% down from all time high and we are just at the beggining of the bull market.

The German government actually gave everyone of us plebs another Golden Opportunity to buy Bitcoin with a nice discount. They have sold all their Bitcoin now, and the price is still above $60,000.

Although in my personal opinion they should have HODLed those Bitcoins because they'll be worth a lot more than the Euros they have exchanged them for.

I also created the same type of topic (dear OP) and I was shocked to hear the point of view of all the members that most of them were saying, they don't care about Germany selling BTC, while they were the main cause for this dump which liquidated millions of money. But still people are cool with it, while I have seen the intense selling pressure coming by newbies and that selling pressure has been created by emotional manipulation. They become victim to FOMO and already sold many BTC but no doubt they might have sold early that's why they are cool with Germany selling there stash.

Overall, now its no need to worry, because they already has sold all of there funds, and now this case needs to be closed I think but still, MT GOX and FTX refunding can still cause great dump in the market.

Not too much, for sure people get afraid and scared with their investment as they bought with the range of 60k price and because the market dumps and forms a downtrend they are now having a panic selling and afraid of what are the things they need to do but if you are in an optimistic side you will see that it's a good opportunity to you to buy more and accumulate as possible we know the trend of the BTC every after halving so if this could dump you will not lose your BTC its still in BTC but if you are still looking it with the fiat currency price reason why its get bothered to you. Invest if people get afraid and take profit if you think people now getting FOMO on the top.

Not at all because for me it's not a big problem because we always see correction and recovery processes in the market.

To be honest, I never worry about the decline that occurs in bitcoin for any reason because this actually gives me room to accumulate much more.

Generally we have a target every time we want to invest. The negative news that occurs is nothing new so Bitcoin experiences a correction process, but we always see a recovery after that happens.
I am a holding person and I prefer long-term investments compared to short-term, so that corrections that occur due to negative news will not affect my mentality.

We've seen that German government did make that dumping then what happened? All of those coins been sold were bought back. So whose the one who had catched all of those coins being dumped?
Neither those institutions or simply the investors or community itself. Look at on the current price we do have now on which it did make out some recovery as of this moment on which you could really be

Well said, such incident it's not new to the industry, it's normal for a country or big whales and investors decided to sell their holdings, it might cause a stir in the market for a short-term but we all know the market would still bounce back after a while so I wonder why anyone who's had the mindset of investing long-term would get worried over a short-term incident that won't affect the market forever, like you said, the market is always open to buying what is put out, so definitely a big investor or investors would come knocking to buy off the holdings. Well I don't fully blame the German government, since there's a claim backing there actions, which is to sell the 50k BTC they seized from criminals. Anyways there's not much reason to panic cause the market would always bounce back after a dump that's the nature of Bitcoin for you.

Maybe those who are panicking are still beginners because they are not used to news like this which causes prices to fall. However, for those who have known about bitcoin for a long time, news like this certainly does not shake their principles of continuing to hold bitcoin, even when the price drops, they will take the opportunity to buy again, they consider this a discount price. Bitcoin's ups and downs are normal, in fact Bitcoin has always been hit by bad issues, some even threw Bitcoin away, but in fact Bitcoin is still growing, Bitcoin is even starting to recover after experiencing a decline a few days ago.
