I never said that the other thread should never get locked, especially now that the challenge has been completed.

You have spent this thread arguing with me but I don't remember you saying anything bad about the other thread. You're saying it now in this one because I'm exposing your double standard.

This thread was never about the thread getting locked by the creator but about it being moved by a moderator.

You're not going to explain what my thread was about, mate. This thread was originally about saying that the other one is rubbish, but when I saw that certain people were going to hurt their feelings I changed the title. And now in addition to the arguments made throughout the thread it is because the author feels so unpunished with his spam megathread that he hasn't even bothered to change the title or lock the thread and create another one.

So everything that could be said about that thread has not been said, here we have one more new thing.

And by the way, I don't buy that you want this thread to be locked. I haven't counted but I'm pretty sure you are the second after me who has posted the most in this thread. So I don't look at what you say but what you do, and what you do shows that you find this thread so interesting to debate in that you don't stop posting here.

I wouldn’t care any less about what thread gets locked or have its name changed simply because its milestone has been reached. I don’t think that’s the way most of the threads out here on the forum is being treated.

Like you have a beginner ask;
How do I send Bitcoin from my mycelium wallet and
Some other user comes up and say, you copy the recipient address, click send, paste address, define amount, define fee and send.
With that being archived by the beginner, the thread gets locked! I haven’t seen a lot of that on the forum.

I think an option would be to exclude yourself with not getting notified on certain thread and users if it pleases you to do so than, being worked up by it, after raising some level of concerns but, don’t get the expected reaction. It could be, people aren’t seeing what your seeing or your not seeing what people are gaining from it. The two could be wrong though!

i have @OGNasty on ignore but i still have forum notifications turned on in "that" thread that he is OP of as there are others in the thread i do read.

not the optimal solution but it works. as subtlety is not really my strongest suite.

As I said earlier, I never agreed with your arguments or points, so my arguing with you has been my way of showing disagreement. And I didn't say anything because you imaginably exposed my double standard, but I said it could get locked now because the target has been reached, but even then, the decision depends on the OP of that thread whether they want to close it and start a new one or edit the challenge or something.

There is no doubt about that; I love debates.  It's a habit; I can't help it. Whenever I read or hear something that I feel I can respond to with something either opposing or agreeing with the point that I think should be said, I can't stop myself.

There aren't many threads about a milestone to begin with.

Of course, that doesn't happen because the thread doesn't become a spam mega thread. In the technical section for example, you can see threads like this and once the correct answer is given someone may come up with other nuances, but it doesn't turn into a spam thread. I have reported similar threads, especially in the gambling section, where the OP's question was more than answered and they were locked.

Go on, but that statement is false, as this thread has a typical Meta theme, and if it didn't it would have been locked or trashed long ago. The moderators don't think twice in this section. This thread has been reported and it is still here. Doesn't that tell you anything?

Considering that out of your last 20 posts, 8 were written in that shitty thread, it's understandable that you defend it so much, because no matter how much you deny it, you've found a thread where you can write so much about an off topic and get paid.
