Would You Mind Completing My Survey?

Hi everyone,

My name is Mark and I'm from Edinburgh in Scotland. I am currently writing my MSc thesis investigating whether Bitcoin has the potential to disrupt payment processor companies such as Visa.

As part of my thesis I've created a really short (genuinely takes about 5 minutes to complete) survey that looks at peoples' attitudes towards online shopping and Bitcoin. The more responses I get the better my data will be and hopefully the better my grade! If you can spare 5 minutes I would be hugely grateful!

I'm more than happy to post the results once analysed and written up or even better post my entire thesis so you can get an idea of how the survey fits into the broader picture of the thesis. I'm finding it pretty interesting writing it so hopefully it will make a good read.

You have 4 risks, and you're supposed to evaluate the importance for each, but you can only select one bubble out of the entire 4 risks.
EDIT: Never mind. The survey is completely fine.
For the 4 risks, you have to rank them from 1 to 4, none of them can have the same ranking.

A prerequisite of completing this survey is that you use a credit or debit card and / or PayPal as a payment method.

Wow, I guess I fail at the prerequisite . It's either cash or bitcoin these days.

There were some non-global answers in the survey. For instance, I live in the US and this:

How Bitcoin will be treated in the future, for example regarding taxation, is unknown until it is regulated.

has already been addressed. The details of taxation are still being worked out, but we have a pretty good general guideline to follow, with a promise that as long as we make an effort to follow the the guidelines, we'll be ok.

Thank you so much to those who have already completed my dissertation survey. I've had some great responses so far!

If you haven't and wouldn't mind spending 5 minutes going through it then I would be massively grateful!

One thing I have noticed is there are some incomplete surveys, especially for the Bitcoin questions. If you have taken the survey and answered Yes to the question "Have you heard about Bitcoin before?" then there are a few questions specific to Bitcoin to complete. If you think that applies to you and you are up for completing it then that would be great. Unfortunately I can't use incomplete surveys so I'm hoping that you'll be up for answering the Bitcoin questions so I can use your response!
