Congratulations to the OP for being a merit source in this gambling discussion board, the board definitely deserves a merit source. It's the most active board in this forum as far as I'm concerned and well deserving to be receiving merit from. Most of us are regular gambling posters here, sharing our personal experiences and learning from each other. I hope that simple posts can meet your criteria for merit because there's no much technical stuff in discussions on this board.

Congratulations OP, I welcome you to the Gambling Board as a Merit Source. This section in particular was in dire need of a Merit Source, and you have fulfilled that need. Hopefully, this Gambling section will be filled with new and diverse information in the future. From now on, we will also be able to be active on the gambling board regularly and share our personal knowledge and information here regularly. We will make this board more updated by sharing some technical aspects of gambling here.

By the way, I have a general question that since you have been accepted for the Gambling board merit source, you can only give those merits in gambling board ? Similarly those members who are selected as sources for the local board, are they restricted to giving merits to that respective local boards only ?

I don't think so, no, but Gambling is where I spend most of the time and where I plan to spend most of my merits awarded for being a merit source.
My regular Merits will be awarded wherever I see fit..

Congratulations, but I think that instead of collecting applications for posts, it is better to review the posts yourself and award merits to the worthy ones. At the same time, we understand that the decisions will always be subjective, but such is human nature and this is in any case the best we can come up with.

I think you are absolutely right @ Julien Olynpic, the gambling discussion board is always busy and if the Op want member to be submitting there post then I think due to voluminous number of post member do make and how active they are in the gambling discussion board, the application will definitely exceed what Op will be expecting then, the thread will have to be locked so instead of doing this, it is better to do what Julien said by going through post in the gambling discussion board and fish out merit worth post and I still think the work will be too much for the Op because the board is always choked up with posts.

The gambling section has always been one of the busiest sections on the forum and was in dire need of a merit source(s) for a long time, but finally someone that knows alot about the gambling ecosystem finally got the responsibility , Big congratulations 🎉

Hope more sources get added as 1 source isn't enough with the 50 cap that exists.

Congratulations on your application approval. It's something worthy of applauding that you have to beam your searchlight for quality posts in from the gambling board section, recognizing it as the board with least merits attention from sources based on the untrue conclusion that the gambling section is wide ground for shitposts, of which this notion isn't entirely true, as there are good and quality discussion threads we can find in that section. I wish other sources can support your efforts seeing that your source numbers are drastically limited.
Now here's a post link submission (Signs of an irresponsible gambling parents.)you should asses to see if it deserves meriting. The post makes effort to highlight the problems of parents indulging their children into gambling activity, and therefore condemns the attitude thereof.

Congrats OP, this gambling board surely a busy one so youll expect a lot of post to pop in, and seriously I think this section needs more than 1 MS.  But its good that you are also accepted for this board. As most users are posting on gambling section due signature affiliated.
