Hey there,

I am auctioning off my stack of 8x BitBurner Fury boards. 4 of them perfectly has at 50Gh/s each with the settings I provided. 1 of them strangely hashes at 12-14Gh/s, I suspect a raised chip is the issue, which can be fixed with the proper tools. Finally 3 of them, which were hasing perfectly at 50Gh/s each, suddenly stopped turning on. My best guess is the fuses need to be replaced but I do not have the tools/experience to repair them.

If you can repair these you can achieve 400Gh/s from this stack. I also have various power Gold power supplies that I can sell as well. 3 of the boards have broken/loose USB ports, but the CANBUS cables that are included help to at least get the units hashing.

Whats included

  • 8x Bitburner Fury boards with heatsinks and fans attached. Saving you time with assembly
  • 5x Stock 90mm fans (1 extra was sent with my order)
  • 3x CANBUS cables of different lengths to attach units with faulty USB ports to those with working ones
  • All mounting hardware to attach them, with extra pieces, but I found best results when they are paired off to prevent overheating if overclocked.

Sorry, NO USB cables are included, but they're cheap on Newegg/Amazon and mine are very used.

I also have a 750W EVGA 80+ Gold PSU in great condition with less than 6 months of occasional use. It has all original packaging, has been dusted weekly and is still under warranty for another 4 years. I am asking BTC0.25 for it if you are interested. Pictures available upon request.

Auction Terms

The auction will last for 3 days starting now with the end time being 12pm EST (UTC-5) on Wednesday, April 2nd. Payment must be made within 3 hours, or I will sell the units to the next highest bidder. Items are sold AS-IS, and no returns please, I am being as honest with the description as possible and have a good seling reputation here.

Bidding will start at BTC0.2 and all bids must be in increments of BTC0.1 and must be posted here to be fair. I am open to buy it now offers via PM as well.

Buy it now price: BTC3

Buy it now price w/ 750W PSU: BTC3.2

Pics available upon request.

Happy bidding.

I love me some bitfury.  I have been able to repair a couple of bitburner boards (1 broken fuse, 1 broken cap/choke) which I purchased DOA.

Getting the bidding rolling... 0.3 BTC

The 3 non-functioning boards were fine til one day they just stopped working. If I connect the Green Power ports, I can still power a 2nd board, so the power is going through that part, but it just doesn't turn on at all. Unfortunately, I don't have the equipment/time to repair it myself, but this is a great opportunity for anyone who can probably fix these very easily.

If you can get the 3/8 boards working, it will get you 350+Gh/s from the 8 stack with the settings I found that worked best.

I will have to close this auction early and revamp it with more specifics. My apologies, I did not remember to include international bidders and realized shipment might end up being more expensive if it is outside of the US.

I will be posting more auctions this week. Can a mod close/delete this thread? Thank you.

That's very disappointing. I imagine we'd all rather have you clarify international shipping terms than cancel the auction outright.

This guy is just terrible at auctions. He originally posted this auction in multiple places instead of just linking to it. Then he cancels this one to alter the terms instead of just answering shipping questions. Wow.

He already changed the end date once. Now he's cancelling it because shipping terms weren't specified by him, instead of just specifying them. Presumably the real reason for cancelling is because the auction wasn't yet yielding high-enough prices for the set of 4-broken-plus-4-mostly-working boards, but the thing is, lots of bids come in toward the end -- tomorrow. I would have bid, certainly.

In an auction, both buyer and seller hope they're going to get a good deal, and the process of the auction decides where along that spectrum the results fall. I hate it when people cancel auctions for spurious reasons -- don't set up the auction if you are not willing to follow it through.

I cancelled the auction because I incorrectly stated the power supply that I was selling and omitted the shipping terms. I have clarified this in the new thread. I am not trying to screw anyone over here.

I don't think you are trying to screw anyone. I think you are a good guy. But you've changed the end time of the auction twice, which makes it essentially impossible, as a bidder, to bid on it. Your auction is complicated -- good boards, dead boards, crippled boards -- but we're all willing to consider what a fair price is. We can't do that, though, if you keep moving the goal posts.
