It's true that the merit sent to the Indonesian local board is decreasing; only one merit source is still active there. I also support this application since OP seems to have the motivation to do the job, and the account has an okay reputation.

There is certainly a reason why merit source activity in certain sections has decreased from before. Being a merit source is basically a moral responsibility towards other users' activities where they should do their best to channel sMerit if there is quality found. The problem of low or less active merit sources could be due to a decrease in the quality of posts or maybe because they don't have time to read many posts because of other activities in the real world. I understand why there should be an increase or maybe a change in merit sources - it would give a lot of motivation for local users to do better.

I noticed a gap between merit distribution in Nigeria and Indonesia - even though Nigeria is a relatively new local board compared to Indonesia. In May - Indonesia only had 304 merit, while Nigeria had 1663 merit. This gap could be due to several reasons - including merit ratio per transaction and user engagement. But ignore that comparison - I support taufik123's merit source application, I hope he will get 1 slot in the merit source list this year.

I am sure you never applied earlier due to how the applications wasn’t given much attention in the past but hey, Theymos had some calculations and duties owed to himself and the forum. Took his sweet time but in the end, surprised all of us. Even then, I think you should be let in on this surprise and made to realize, it doesn’t always take sweet times to come to this conclusion of awarding sources. You are a good forum user, one that has his uniqueness and very much knows how to source for quality. Hope you get it!

I used to be really motivated to become a merit source and contribute to the local board Bahasa Indonesia, but for various real-world reasons, I decided to cancel my application. There are some local users who are worthy of being a merit source in my opinion and @taufik123 is one of those I support.

The merit circulating on our local board has decreased a lot and I have to say that merit sources are not share merit as often as they used to. Even if they don't have time to search for good posts among users, we also have threads where merit sources can find posts that are considered quality easily. I don't blame you and any other merit source for the decline in merit on the local board, but it is true that the local Indonesian board needs merit sources.

Its obvious to all who follow merit activtiy data that Indonesian board is among the more undermited ones, despite being one of the most active members month after month, therefore more merit sources there are obviously needed.

Some merit source applications from Indonesia a few years ago have not received much attention, but I hope this time it might be different even if it's a little late.

Yes, by utilizing the help thread you created, it will be very helpful to source merit to get the best posts.
Even though you have closed your application but you can reopen it and renew your application, Indonesia needs more Merit Sources and you are one of them.

Merit distribution activities for Indonesia have dropped drastically, even Nigeria overtakes with extraordinary activity at this time, I didn't even expect Indonesia to be below Nigeria.

Some members of Local Indonesia are actually many more deserving of being a source of merit,
but maybe because of their limited time they can't do this job, so I volunteered to do the job because I am already fully working in Crypto.

I was indeed a little late as I said before, seeing a lot of new Source of Merit admissions if I had been earlier maybe now I would have been accepted.

But it doesn't matter if it's too late, the important thing is that there is still a chance,
and what is most needed is the support from all of you to enliven this Application so that @theymos pay attention to it

From the few contest I have participated on I've got to know this user to be one of the great and most creative users in this forum in terms of art but however doing what he knows how to do best he has earn a lot of trust and even gain more visibility as reputable member of the forum.

I also guess from the above his due for a source in my perspective it not Theymos perspective, however his application came late yet hope theymos looks into your application.

That's sometimes why in some parts the amount of merit distributed is very small. Merit sources or regular users only focus on technical posts so that most other reasonable posts are ignored. In fact - there are many general posts that may require the poster to think critically and pour out their thoughts into one post. I know the quality of posts is subjective from one user to another - but if the merit source only focuses on one category of posts, then the others will be ignored.

So far I haven't found any particularly stingy merit sources - I think they're all very generous. They'll be considered stingy by those who feel dissatisfied or unhelped - but when you call yourself stingy for certain categories of posts, then that's your choice. One of the requirements for being a merit source is being an established user - that means they can judge posts from different categories well without personal sentiment or ego.

I fully support @taufik123 to be another merit source of Indonesian local board. We need more merit sources to improve our local board, I hope this will motivate all Indonesian members to be more active. We can't deny that merit supports can trigger the improvement of quality post and raise the activity in the local board. Even if merit isn't everything, but it is an important part!
