Okay, so apart from the other idiot we now have this one, who we don't know if he is the same person, and who is dumb enough to nickname himself “Joseph Van Name Ph.D.” even though he tries to convince us that he is not that person. I am not going to waste a lot of time on this.

He clearly shows the trust system has flaws that may not be correctable.

It’s clear that we’re not on the same page. Several reputable members have already left negative feedback, indicating that this is not an abuse of the trust system. If you believe otherwise, then you should also acknowledge that those reputable members are engaging in abuse, which is simply not the case.

Not a single forum member supported your flag, which I considered to be an abuse of the trust system. As for negative trust, I already said that I personally find it unnecessary and that it is better to ignore the troll. I never said that the members who painted the account red were wrong. It is their personal opinion whether they think the member is untrustworthy.

So yeah, we are clearly not on the same page, because it seems like you dont even know the difference between trust feedback and flags.

This whole drama between these two entities is like running the Emacs "doctor" program and sharing the input/output with another Emacs doctor.

What should bother forum users is the reason you chose to go with same name, also, Op, what is in it to gain worrying over a user's forum moniker and all his endeavor to prove that he's a mathematical professor? Nobody knows who he is actually, but his fowl attitude towards members who kicked against his self acclaimed title wrote him off as a professor.

When someone's intention is to create drama and who seeks attention then posts like this are created. We don't really want to know that who's Professor Joseph Van, and we have nothing to do with him or his mathematics, or his Ph.D. And, jvanname is someone who's master of the trolls but still the forum allows freedom of speech and that's why he does such level of trolling. That's the worst case to get attention. No offence for even that jvanname, but I believe someone with such high level of education should not do something like that.
