I need to address a serious issue that cannot be overlooked. A user on this forum, jvanname, is impersonating the esteemed Professor Joseph Van Name, Ph.D. This is not just a harmless act; he/she/they/it intentionally seeks to ruin the reputation of the real Joseph Van Name, Ph.D

This impersonator also tried to create a pump-and-dump coin, a fraudulent scheme that can lead to significant financial losses for unsuspecting members. The evidence of this can be found here: Pump-and-Dump Coin Discussion.

I want to make it clear that my other replies is not intended to impersonate Professor Van Name. It is a roleplay meant to reflect what the real professor might say in response to this situation.

Pretty sure we all wrote that account off as a nutjob that might have needed to seek professional help as he was a bit crazy in almost every post and always spewing out baseless accusations along with leaving multiple inaccurate feedbacks on accounts. In my opinion neither of the accounts belong to the real person, he is probably completely unaware of the drama being conducted regarding his name. The same puppeteer probably operates both accounts.

I'm not exactly happy about some of the negative trusts I've received over the years after busting scammers, but not many people actually see them, and nobody takes them seriously.

Ultimately none of this affects anything that has to do with our real lives. All these perceived problems can be solved by walking away from the computer.

I knew for sure that someone who have attained such a high echelon will not stoop as low as constituting a nuisance in a unique forum lile this. Van Name's project, rather), before opening his own thread for it. His account was created in 2017, and right from the beginning he talked about how hash power should be used for "advancing science or technology." Even his more recent posts display an advanced understanding of mathematics, yet somewhere along the way he had some kind of mental break...

His approach to doing business has always been considered "unsound"...

It is inappropriate to post the link to the unofficial Circcash Discord server when the Discord server is full of people who do nothing but hate me (the only Circcash developer) because I want people to speak in the best English that they can.

Unofficial Circcash Discord server is the only place where people all over the world can freely chat with each other about Circcash since they have been censored from any official channels that existed. They do not have to be anxious about their grammar or being censored for insane reasons, or no reason at all.

He's not here to make friends, but he never quite got it that making friends sometimes helps you make money, or at least achieve your goals.

He's not entirely wrong about the "sociopaths and evil people" part. Crypto attracts a lot of serious douchebags that care more about money than anything else in the world, including life itself. However, money (including cryptocurrency) is a social construct, and it only works as such when multiple people agree that it has value. By being so overly hostile, he turned off his entire community and anyone who might have considered investing in Circcash's success. Thus, Circcash was doomed to fail. Its a shame because its not a bad idea for a cryptocurrency.
