The beginning of new journey in this forum & local board

I am a new member of the forum, and I heard about this forum from a neighbour. Later, I created an account in a forum to discuss bitcoin in the crypto world. After creating an account, I first saw the Bitcoin Discussion section. Later, I saw many more sections (Beginners and Help) where I created my first post. Many people have given various welcome/greeting messages from there. I am pleased to have come to such a platform.

The post I am creating at the moment is for my local board. I am even happier to have found my local board because I can communicate with my local members. Since I am new here, I would like to ask who is here to help me learn about the bitcointalk forum. I think that with your help, this forum will be of the most use to me. After posting here (beginners and Help), I am sharing some information with you.

I found these links, bookmarked them, and tried to read many of them. I understand roughly and am trying to understand better. Since I am new here, you will be there with some guidance. I found these links, bookmarked them, and tried to read many of them. I understand roughly and am trying to understand better.

First of all, I go like welcome you to this our small corner of this forum wey we Nigerians dey take gather and discuss about Bitcoin, forum and crypto related activities as it affects our country Nigeria. And as such, since you started you will like to know more about the 3 threads that you found which was bookmarked on the "Beginners & Help" board of the forum. Then here is my briefing about what those threads you posted represents.

You see this thread, this is a thread that contains the comprehensive list of rules that members on this forum are to obey at all times. Including guidelines on what you need to do to avoid problems on this forum, and answers to frequently asked questions that will be worth knowing for your forum success.

2. ✓Newbies- Read before posting.
Whereas, this other thread is a thread that contains a comprehensive list of things Newbies need to learn about this forum, in other not to look lost when certain terms are been mentioned or why things happen in a certain way on the forum. As this thread talks about merit, how to calculate your merit and activity on the forum and e.t.c. So it is a very good thread you need to learn as a beginner.

3. ✓The purpose of the forum.
Whereas, this one is self explanatory, as this is a thread that explains what the purpose of this forum is.

Those thread you added were made to guide newbies and make easy their transition into the forum, it was made to be very helpful and easy to understand. My advice is first you read them generously and then you can list out were your confusions are about any of the thread and make a post asking for assistance, I am very sure that people would be more than willing to help and assist you.

You're welcome on board, it's always good seeing new members here who are really willing to learn, It's good you're getting yourself familiar with the forum rules, make sure you abide by them to avoid being penalized. The sticky threads are made as guide for new members in the forum and I believe they are self explanatory.

To understand more about the forum you have to read more, read a lot of threads, the more you read the more you understand. Don't prioritize creating threads or posts or earning merits you should focus on learning for now.
