Verstappen is @8.00x now and was around the same odds in the previous race after qualifying was done but at his home track is unreal. Since he has won so many races there over his career.

Here is the times and dates of when the practice sessions and races begin:

As there is no upgrades allowed in the break, I guess Ferrari would still be faster but we'll see OFC.

This rule is in Ferrari's favor and can see them taking advantage of it to gain some points too.
Also to note, 2026 will be the last time the Dutch GP will be at the Zandvoort track.

I'm starting to think it's a good way to split your bets halfway between the two McLarens and just go with it, even if a few surprises sprang up you would probably still be in green at the end of the championship.

Anyhow, I took the mandatory bet on Max last week at 9.5, I'm prepared to see him around 15-20x before the race as usual when I do these things!

However , I don't have high hopes for them but I can see them scoring points in their F1 season debut but that's kinda it as I doubt we will see a huge surprise like the one we had with Brawn GP coming out of nowhere and winning by dominating all year. That would be crazy right ? To see either Cadillac or Audi winning next year 

Brown GP was still Honda and Mercedes money and engine, it was a great achievement but they weren't newcomers by any means.

McLarens have looked as usual. Norris has been faster so far. But this doesn't mean I trust him more than Piastri.    Max has had problems. But always be ready for a qualifying surprise by him...

Max's odds have gone up to 11.00 now and probably it'll go higher indeed. His home GP is like the best time to bet on him really.

15x, as usual.....well, at this point not enough to even make me raise an eyebrow I got so used to it it's like I have a crystal ball.

Well, after this Saturday they no longer make sense on some bookies.
They are 1.44 and 2.88 on average so that would mean a 4% loss even if you would bet only on them, terrible odds, like, really, really, terrible!
The biggest difference I could get on multiple books was goign to give you 2%, so 2% essentially betting that Mclaren would win, then go with the 1.05 for the car winner!

Yes nobody could best him no matter how many times they had tried. Norris was the one who had the best chance but just couldn't quite shave enough time off his qualifying lap.
Verstappen looked good on the middle part of the lap but still not good enough to beat both McLarens.

What amazed me was Isack Hadjar getting ahead of George Russell and ended up 4th on the grid.
Should make for an interesting race tomorrow.

There are some chances for rain too, I've read, and that may favor him too.
But they've said there will be rain at quali too and I think it didn't (sadly I've missed most of it).

Yep, I've noticed that both Racing Bulls are in top10 and Isack managed an superb #4 in front of Russell and the 2 Ferraris.
Let's see how good he manages to keep his track position, but I don't really have high hopes on that matter.
I fear that unless it will actually rain, it will be a rather dull race...

Good work on that by Piastri indeed! Norris is really full of surprises mate. He looked quite dominant in free practice sessions. He couldn't maintain the same effort in qualifying. It isn't actually the first time he is doing this... 

Anyways, Verstappen did a quite decent job. I didn't expect him to be in top 3. Because Russell was also looking solid. However even Hadjar got past him. As for Verstappen, I don't think he can do more than finishing in the 3rd place tomorrow.

Wow what a qualifying!

Both McLaren  drivers took top 2 spots even as max tried his best to overtake them

Norris was quickest in all 3 sessions,however piastri won the qualifier by 12 thousandths of a second!!!

This has been insane race start already, i think theres quite some value on norris winning the GP at 2.85 odds, whatever happens it will again be very very close!!

Very eventful race as both norris and hamilton had to retire

Norris had a engine failure with just 7 laps before the end, he was understandably very upset and had his head between his knees

Hamilton started the weekend by saying he was enjoying racing for ferrari, he was seventh when he ran into barriers and got his first retirement for ferrari 

Very sad and unfortunate for two legends

Just started watching it from lap 55 and could of just skipped the entire race to see the same spots being placed. Hopefully another safety car is deployed so to shake things up and make this one more interesting.

The only way for Verstappen to gain a place was to expect McLarens to make a mistake or a problem with their car. And it happened... 

Norris had a really sad ending. I don't remember McLaren having an engine issue recently. It was shocking.

3 SCs made the race more interesting. Really sad for Ferrari though...

Actually they've switched for a short period, at start.
Max was very lucky, the safety cars came at the right time for him, given that he always had softer tyres than the competitors. And the fact that Lando also DNF... incredible.
I felt sorry for Lando and Charles, but the joy of seeing Hadjar on the podium have compensated that greatly.

And at some point during the race I noticed that I was incredibly stupid: I should have been betting on Safety Car appearance. I rarely bet on F1, and that's usually for safety car.
Ah, and yeah, I was wrong, but I am happy I was wrong. it was no rain and still not a dull race.

Give it a try, I never won on those despite choosing it at random so, based on the stompix indicator, it should be a cash cow 

As for the race not that I didn't win again, as I never expected but indeed, or that I'm pissed about the overtake on lap 10 or something but, again, you have the same story, one team drives ahead of the rest and the rest try to do their best at not to colide with eachother while some fail misserable at this.

And yeah, as usual, funny thing, Max can't win but he gets more points than both Ferrari, I swear if Max fails to win but somehow RB grabs the second spot beating Mercedes and Ferrari ,I will stop putting even a dime on F1 in my life!

Wait a minute, he's the most talented of his generation. The thing is, the talent of today's rookie drivers is incredible. Around here, we have Juan Pablo Montoya's son looking for a spot, and in his own words, it's not easy. Then, the thing about F1 is that besides talent, there's the "paddock*." It's like a job lobby, so it's basically the equivalent of politics in F1.

Let's just say I'm glad to see Checo and Bottas in F1, but with so much talent, it was really surprising that they didn't give another rookie a chance. F1 doesn't live on talent alone; Stroll can certainly tell you that.
