Developing countries escaping poverty is not unheard of and in fact a lot of the strongest economies now are ones that used to struggle before. China used to be called the sleeping giant because it was believed to be of potential. And that was right. But the question is why is it that those countries got out of poverty while some did not?
Well the answers have a lot of factors involved. Each country should have their own strengths that they could exploit. Some countries made use of their resources to make products that they could offer to the rest of the world. They depended a lot on exporting goods to other countries inviting money into theirs. Some countries focused on education making their young generations literate and skilled workers boosting their economy productivity. Most of all, these are all possible because of the low level of corruption. I did not say totally free because that seems to be a myth lol.
So what do you think is your country missing to get out of being a third world country stage?
The biggest aspect of reducing poverty is eliminating unemployment in the country. The higher the unemployment rate in a country, the higher the rate of poor people in that country. Building more and more mill industries in the country can be a big solution to reduce poverty. The reason why people are poor is that they have no source of income. Therefore, by creating a source of income for them, their poverty can be eliminated. And along with this, people should be given the opportunity to build skills institutionally by building a technical education system. Those who have skills can earn money in any way. The poor are those who have no skills and do not have the ability to earn money. Therefore, helping them increase their ability to earn money can automatically reduce poverty in a country.

Poverty happen in everywhere including developed countries because if there's no poor people, there's no rich people too.
Many countries especially developing countries like to manipulate the data and the way they consider poverty. Imagine if the minimum salary of a country is $300 and the country consider someone is poor if their spending are below $37. It just 15% of the minimum salary, I'm sure rent cost is more than 15%, that means we all are middle class (based on my country)!

Well said. In most cases, we will see that in countries where the number of unemployed people is high, poverty among the people is also high and in this regard it is actually an important issue that increasing employment reduces the number of unemployed people quickly, there can be many policies to do this, such as providing technical education to people and later sending them to foreign countries as manpower for earning remittances. If we want to see a country as an example of rapid success in reducing unemployment and eliminating poverty, then here is a simple example that is China. China was once a poor country but due to their hard work and development of technical education, they were able to improve themselves quickly, and due to the reduction in the number of unemployed people, it has become a superpower in the world.

Eliminating unemployment seems like an impossible solution to the problem of unemployment because even the developed countries still deal with the issue of unemployment today, although as a mininal scale as compared to the developing countries. The most appropriate line I could have used is reducing poverty to its barest minimum where the majority of the citizens enjoys their standard of living because the government has created an engaging and enabling environment for businesses to thrive. These helps to boost the economy of the nation and also reducing insecurity as well as other issues of great and neglected concerns such as malnutrition among children and abuse of human labour.

There was a news recently that there are now more than unemployed people in the US than people US can employ, this means there is no job for many people that are jobless despite US been the biggest economy that is doing better than any other countries. What do we now say about countries that are don't even have what to offer there people jobs, this is a global problem everywhere. India is one of the biggest economy yet her people are running to Canada for jobs. However, this isn't worse in all the countries, developing countries knows the way they managed their numbers. When they see the numbers is getting high, they do thorough check on illegal immigrants and send them back to their home and allow people that have the papers have easy access. The other countries where there is fallen economy, they don't get to use this measures until they build their economy to have people compete for jobs like the way big economy does.

Poverty is the result of a country not having job opportunities to accommodate its population. Given that poverty is the root of all problems economically and financially, this becomes a chain reaction which affects every corner of the household.
The question is- how do we escape poverty? Well the answer is: providing job opportunities and basic education to the people.
Once the government is able to create job opportunities, this will also create another snowball effect that can slowly improve overtime. Additionally, having the basic education can necessarily affect the population, which thereby improves everyone's quality of life in the grand scheme of things.

In my analysis China's rise from poverty and even its rise to prominence is due to a change in mindset. They embraced the communist ideology, which was steadfast, even ruthless. During Deng Xiaoping's era, this mindset was changed ideology was merely a tool, not a goal the important thing was that it could be used to prosper the people. Furthermore they built the country like raising a child carefully, gradually, and with careful planning. They built light industry first, then medium, and heavy industry once they were capable. They attracted as much foreign investment as possible. They maintained political stability and severely punished corruptors. The results are visible today.
So according to current theory the causes of poverty (structural) are corruption, weak law enforcement, policies that do not favor the people, economic inequality, social disparities, and poor quality education. The solution to escape poverty is the death penalty for corruptors, enforce the law impartially, revise policies that harm the people, promote economic equality, and revise the system to improve the quality of education.

Every countries has something to offer to one another, God made it so perfect that no country have it all. No country can do without others. In international trading, some developing countries are still busy selling raw materials especially Africa, that's why they are poor, they have anything to remain top in the world but they lacks have no technology know how. China was Smart enough to start production and processing their raw materials instead to see it to others. When you process your raw materials, you benefit more and it creates jobs opportunities for the youth. It's attracts investors into the country and it will also expand the cities. That's how developing countries can escape poverty, they must follow the processes and procedures the developed countries went through. And the first process was production, produce what you eat and wear. In Africa we sell raw materials and wait to buy the processing products. That's is a poor mentality, and that's why we are poor. Developing countries must think like China, China as of 2000 was still in third world country today they're top 4 countries in the world when it comes to production.

This is the fundamental problem when a country wants to escape poverty, and only the government can solve it. However, we see this happening today, as many underdeveloped and developing countries have corrupt governments, preventing them from allocating funds for this purpose. If a country's government doesn't make these efforts, the problem will never be resolved.

You tell me that it is quite interesting with my country. The reason for saying this is that those who control the country economically in my country are the most corrupt. And the country's money is promoted in different countries. In a word, they transfer money to the bank in the most foreign countries to the bank. That is why the people of their own country are most economically affected. No action is being taken from the government for this. Moreover, the amount of budget when you do one thing. More than that, all the money is spent there and all the money is taken. For the people of my country are the most departed. If you have to get rid of them, then first of all, everyone has to be honest and devoted. Then that country will improve and will be free of poverty.
There is something inheritably wrong about politics that attracts corrupt people. The weirder part is that humanity falls for it almost all the time, and all through the ages as well. Not that many "good" people were elected in history of humanity, it's not that common. Almost everyone who takes power, are corrupt people who take money away from the people, and into their own pockets. Look at the world right now, it's filled with people like that. Corruption calls for politicians. Or maybe, just maybe, politics is designed in a way that other corrupt people, only allow other corrupt people to go up with them, and make the good people not grow. Look at Bernie, even democrats in power hated him, but we knew he wasn't corrupt.

Maybe they don't? I know this is going to sound harsh, but we can literally see nations who are living worse than roman empire people did 2000 years ago, and those people can never get better. I have seen countries, towns, cities, where they are still having trouble getting clean water, and not like this is a problem they had this year, this a problem they had for centuries. Mr. Beast, a youtuber, is raising money to go help and build a well for them.
But these people had centuries to get clean water, could have worked on it, and they didn't, or when they tried, they failed. Roman empire managed it, 2000+ years ago, and they failed to do it in 2025. If that's the case, then maybe they are just not going to have a good life ever, it's that simple. Very harsh, I know, but it's so obvious.
