Suppose, as title says — you had infinite amount of money, would you still gamble?

Personally, I can't see myself giving two fucks when I don't care for money in first place. Would you?

I will still gamble, but not for the sake of money anymore, but for the sake of fun, and every time I put a bet, I always have this "YOLO!!!" mindset where I will always go all in to ALL of my bets because at the end of the day, I have an infinite amount of money.

Of course realistically speaking, this will never happen (at least if you're the likes of Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos or those famous billionaires out there that knows how to make huge amounts of money). Well, I might better spend those money travelling around the world, or giving it to those who are in need because... why not. I mean I'll be a philanthropist in an instant if that happens.

Anyway, gambling isn't on my priority that's why I might not still be doing it if I have this thing on me.

Yea, it's not that that person won't set up investments to create more sources of income for theirself, they will but depending on how attached the person is to gambling and how unsatisfied they are with the money they already have, they will still continue gambling with a huge amount of money so that they can keep multiplying their income. Nah bro, infinite money wouldn't automatically kill the urge to gamble. You know, most people gamble because not only they need to make money in a short cut, sometimes they feel a lot of excitement then they gamble, also they gamble because of the social buzz, it is not something they must need to gamble. You will see that there are many people who have won a lot of money in the lottery but cannot quit gambling, and there are many whales who do not need money but lose a lot of money by gambling and then become poor, so whatever source you have it also affects your IRL income. So, although cash helps you a lot in gambling, it is not a cure for gambling addiction and avoiding losses.

People can be workaholics. People might work to make their mind work, develop, dont degrade. A parallel with retired people solving puzzles and crosswords can be made, they did not do that only because they have free time or nothing else to do. I have also seen people who dont know or like to rest. While on vacation, on 4th or 5th day they look missed and search something to keep busy

Yes, the question is what they expect from gambling. Maybe even if they have an infinite amount of money, they can still continue playing for money. Because they're interested in the very fact of their victory, and it consists in multiplying money. I would definitely gamble even if I had unlimited money. A lot of experiences are curated towards making you feel good while gambling such as the ambience and euphoria when winning with lights and sounds.

Having Infinite money and gambling is no longer something we can enjoy. Gambling may be for entertainment, but it will still give you at least some winnings from your bets. It's like playing a demo game of gambling. That's what it's like when you have unlimited money. When you're almost out, you can refill, and the sensation is clearly different.

Gambling cannot be a way of life. Gambling is just one way of entertainment, if you think beyond that, gambling will continue to lead to negative consequences for you. As an expression of love for work, rich people keep themselves busy in earning money through continuous hard work. I think human life should be kept busy until death because without busyness, a monotonous life will seem horrible to you. Just as life without purpose is meaningless, without hard work you will become mentally and physically ill.

Now for some reason it occurred to me that this question cannot be answered unequivocally. After all, we all live and consume according to Maslow's pyramid and try to close our financial issues with gambling.
But if we do not need money, then, most likely, we will be worried about some ethical and moral issues of self-affirmation. And perhaps we will want to test fate and find out that we are lucky. First of all it's not possible to have an infinite money so let's be realistic, but to answer your question if I have an infinite money I will still gambling, because I like gambling so there is no way having an infinite money will make me to stop gambling, gambling is a game that entertain me.
