Suppose, as title says — you had infinite amount of money, would you still gamble?

Personally, I can't see myself giving two fucks when I don't care for money in first place. Would you?

Infinite money would cause the economy to collapse, but keeping that aside, I would play for fun only.

But then the games no different from any other game that we play and we will get bored very soon. The money involved in it, generates the thrill and fear and that is what makes us addicted to the game.

Maybe I will play for fun. But what makes gambling so excited? It's the fear of lose and same time joy of winning. This is what's make interesting the gambling.  It's the sole reason gambling is so excited. If I have infinite amount of money , there will be nothing to be feared of lose, I will just play continuously this will make the game , gambling useless .

Having infinity amount of money is not possible, but if possible, I will gamble with more money because it is just like water to me. The most important thing is that I will focus on other things more, like building my career and impacting positively to people's life, just as I am impacting to the lives of those that own the casinos.

It is not possible for someone to have infinite amount of money, no matter how much you have. A government does not have such in its treasury, let alone an individual.

This shows you do not gamble for the fun of it but for money alone, no matter how much I have personally, I must gamble because I gamble for the thrill of it too and not just for its financial renumeration.

Since I am not gambling to double my funds, even if I have such money, I will continue gambling because I am using it to entertain myself. Gambling is like a hobby to some people and they don't care if they are rich or not. As long as you are gambling responsible, it's fine.

Depending some games are entertaining and to some point if you have all the money but still have a urge to play those games it means you can be good to go since money at this point cant give you the entertainment you desire, just like addictions too.

But majority of us are gambling just for the money we see as possibility in the games, sport bet for instance as a football fans, if i see that a stronger team is given 3.00 odds against a more weaker club, i will definitely want to 3x my money through that game possibility.

You can already buy everything you want, there is no reason to make money anymore but to spend them. You don't have to stress yourself anymore, maybe buy a yacht and enjoy yourself.

But having more money will likely result to other kind of things to get busy of. You can see the rich men lives differently on high places. Probably marrying one woman to another or get involve to politics like Musk.

If the situation were the same, I'd probably still gamble. The truth is, we gamble to win money, but with the length of time I've been gambling, I'm not sure I could just stop betting even if I had a substantial amount of money. It's also possible that some gamblers with large capital aren't just chasing wins and multiplying their money. There's a thrill they naturally seek from gambling.

Honestly i will not gamble not even for fun, at that point i have the means to afford any type of fun so i will rather go for other type of fun rather than gambling, i will not gamble for any reason because actually i don't gamble for fun only i also have expectations when i gamble so it isn't completely for fun alone and that is why if i have the infinite funds, i will completely quit gambling for the rest of my life.

Some how there are people with this kind of funds who will still gamble because for them they are gambling for fun and for the the money as they are very much insatiable even with any amount of funds they have at any time they just find fun in making more money so it will be fun for them to continually making the money or loosing it even with the huge funds they have got that appears infinite.

It doesn’t take much intelligence to lose money — I don’t understand how that could be a reason to show off or feel superior. Now, if those millionaires were showing that, alongside making money from their main ventures, they were also winning big at the casino — that could be seen as something impressive, something like what you’re describing.

To be honest, if i have infinite money, i will gamble more. If money becomes infinite meaning my quest for it will be infinite.

Using Drakes resource as a measure for infinite money cause while Drake is wanting more, another person is hoping to making that much in a life time. Of a truth, when saying gambling is both fun and profits, it doesn't make sense to some while it does to others, if i should be wealthy (infinite money), my gambling activity will increase including my bet amount.

And if I have unlimited money and I still want to gamble just for fun then I will keep using it because it entertains me and because of the reasons I experienced why I like to gamble, because I gamble just to fill my free time and to entertain myself because I am stressed with work and I often do gambling activities on weekends because that is my time to entertain myself and if I have unlimited money it will make me happy and I will use it and will not get rid of my habit when gambling. Everyone has different reasons for gambling, some people do it for fun while others do it to make money from it. Personally I would still gamble if I had infinite money because I love the fun of it. There are billionaires that still gamble but do you think it's because they still need more money? How much do they need to get from gambling that they don't already have in their bank account. Everyone's reason for gambling is different

I will be buying real estate in different parts of the world, especially in third-world countries where taxes are not too heavily implemented. That way, I can make more and put it in the funds of my kids and grandkids.
You said I am the only one who has infinite money, but it doesn't mean my kids will have the same future. That's why I want to secure their future by buying real estate, and maybe they can sell it in the future at a higher price or just use it themselves. Land is a big investment, and it doesn't rot. That's why my eyes are all glued to it.

Simple, I would choose the shittiest RTP game in the world, unload billions in it, so all the casinos where I lost money can party all night they have made a billion dolalr in profit and the next day I lose a trillion, then a quadrilion untill every casino in the world will ban me because they realize if you have trillions while somebody else has 1 billion times that you're still poor!

Anyhow, there is another weak point in Martingale, and that is the limit to the bets, you might have 1 billion dollars but if the casino has a max $1000 bet only you still have the same problem.

It's like saying that you don't care if you lose money, no matter the amount. It's just going to be a thing for you, and you lose it, and it's going to be okay. I think it shouldn't be affected because if you want to have that dopamine rush. However, if you aim to earn money, I don't think having infinite wealth would let you continue to gamble, because you would have already achieved it.

It depends on the persons goal / purpose with gambling.
